Elephant Bar Restaurant

Four stars because I really didn't care for my Thai Salmon salad and my friend didn't care for her Market Cobb.    Too bad.  I'll chalk it up to a poor day in the kitchen.  

I like this place.   The atmosphere is very relaxing.  I've been here for lunch and happy hour.   Service today was excellent.   Our server was so patient and attentive to two women that have not seen each other in a very long time and talked so much we forgot to look at the menu.  

Oh,  do order the Parmesan crusted green beans.  To live for!!

Great choice coming here for lunch and the choice of the Misoyaki Salmon....

Went in with my girlfriend for our anniversary. We were seated promptly by the host but unfortunately we left the dining room area to go to the bar because our server took forever to just bring us our water. He passed by our table once and told us that he would be right with us, and that was the last we saw of him for a good while; we promptly relocated.

We moved to the bar and enjoyed the happy hour they have from 9pm-close. After realizing the restaurant only does the happy hour specials at the bar, we decided that it was the better place to dine. We also decided that not coming during happy hour would be a great waste of money in the future.

The bartender knew how to take care of her patrons and turn a bad situation around.

She apologized for the waiter not taking care of us and promptly served us water and got our drinks in. She was very prompt and professional during our whole visit, making the dining experience very relaxing for us, as well as keeping our needs met.

We ordered a few drinks and appetizers, all on the happy hour special. They are great drinks, lots of booze in them for the price, and the appetizers are very tasty. We were able to make a meal of four appetizer plates.

Coconut shrimp, fusion Korean tacos, seared ahi tuna, tuna rolls, house margaritas, and long islands. All on the happy hour special! Those items are just what we chose to get, the happy hour menu is much more extensive and it all sounded very tasty.

I would have given this review 5 stars if the waiter had originally been on his game after we had been seated. First impressions are everything, and how my girlfriend and I were treated within the first 5 minutes of being the restaurant made me give 3 stars and no more. Kudos for the bartender for being on her game and turning around the mistake of the server.
