Falafel & Grill

This is great to-go Lebanese food. I come here at least once a week- I love it! The falafel sandwich is the way to go, at $4.12 including tax. The tabouleh salad is nice, too.

People are saying that one of the girls who works here is unfriendly, but honestly I've had a great experience with everyone here. I definitely recommend it! Just don't think you can get away with flashing lights on Milwaukee- they WILL ticket you (I've learned from personal experience :( haha).

I started with a review of Baba Pita and decided to bang out the big four of Mediterranean cuisine in the West Town area in one fail (full? fell?) swoop (I have no idea which of those is right and obviously none of them make sense so I'm not going to google it so my review can bring attention to this crucial issue).

Mediterranean is the hardest of all cuisines to rate.  They are all so similar in quality and price and all offer one of the best deals on quick, moderatley healthy food.  When I established Baba Pita as a "three" in a previous review it was a painful click of the submit button, but its the only one of the four Mediterranean places (with Dawali Mediterranean Kitchen and Sultan's) that doesn't have a clear advantage in any area.  Falafel & Grill, in my opinion has the best meat dishes among the 3 cheaper options and they offer gyro meat which is a huge plus.  I wish I had a better method of delineating these places but I don't.  So get off my back, Mom.

Falafel & Grill is truly my favorite go to for Mediterranean food. I am from Dearborn, Michigan where take this food seriously, and this is the closest thing I've found in Chicago for the quality.

I highly recommend it!
