Jewel Sushi

Totally fills your sushi craving for basic sushi without the wait.  I get something here practically every other week.  Reasonably priced, $5.99 for the california rolls.  The highest thing is about $10.99 and that's for rolls with a ton of fish.  Now they have a section of rolls with brown rice only!

One time I was looking at the sushi and the sushi chef came out to put new stuff out. He saw I had put something in my cart and thanked me. He saw the soy sauce was out and asked me if I wanted more, and brought me out a huge handful.  He was so cute, he kept saying thank you.  I bought another box of sushi just because he was so sweet.  

So proof that there IS someone back there rolling.  It also made me feel good that he was actually Asian (though I couldn't tell if he was Japanese) rather than the butcher or someone back there putting the rolls together.

Jewel's sushi is better than Dominick's, but that's not saying a lot.  At least the spicy rolls have some flavor, but not a lot.  It works if you are already at the grocery, craving sushi, and don't want to spend much over a 5 note.  Otherwise, don't bother.
