New China Restaurant

This place is awesome. I live just around the corner and you can't beat the lunch special. Tons of food so it's basically two meals for $6! Also the potstickers are some of the best I've had.

Avoid if at all possible. I've ordered here 3 times. First was fairly decent, second there were pieces of metal scour brush in my food. 3rd time food was just  plain bad and all I ordered was soup. Staff on the other hand is very sweet and nice, I just wish the food was worth it.

You're much better off going up to Golden Chef on North av at Kedzie for cheap Chinese.

Being from the south side of Chicago, I'm accustomed to no frills Chinese takeout. The egg rolls are more in line with what I you get on the south side. Not those itty bitty little fried wanton wrappers that are generally overpriced. The orange chicken was decent. Young's has excellent orange chicken if that is what you are looking for tonight. I will definitely order again.
