We got something from FarmMaid _every single day_ of our 10 day Ptown trip. They have juices and smoothies and banana soft serve "ice cream" to order and a cold case full of rotating veg, vegan, raw delights. Plus a daily salad bar and soup. And it's inside 141 Bradford Natural Market, which is a well stocked little health food store.
Favorites:
- Raw key lime pie with pineapple macadamia crust. Heaven.
- The almond teriyaki dressing. We had it on a cabbagy salad that was great, but I would put it on anything.
- Zucchini rollups with raw vegan "ricotta" and basil oil
-*** Romaine boats with pumpkin seed pate and black bean corn salsa and vegan sour cream*** these were life changing.
- Quinoa power salad with kale and sweet potatoes. So exceptional.
My girlfriend is lactose intolerant and I had been telling her about banana soft serve (frozen bananas run through a champion juicer so it's a creamy dreamy ice cream alternative) for weeks. She finally got to try it here and was beside herself. Â Like on craigslist buying champion juicers for everyone she knows beside herself.
Stopped by for the opening party for the Provincetown Fitness Challenge, 2012. Â FarmMaid Foods had some incredible samplings to help us all get on the right path to healthy eating. Â Asian Salad with Almond Teriyaki Dressing and Hail Kale Caesar Salad are to die for and a must have for a raw desert is Katie Kups (Cacao ALmond Butter Cups)...Yum Yum. Â Stop in at 141 Bradford Natural Market and buy some of these delicious items. Â You will not be disappointed.
