My burger was fine but my fries were pretty undercooked.

Great Burgers, not as good as Burger Joe's(which went out of business) and great fries.

Overpriced but good food

This is one of the original Five Guys. Recently made a trip out here and I'm glad it did. I was losing heart with Five Guys because several of their newer locations have dropped the ball. I don't know what it is but the burgers at this location just seem juicier and tastier.

Fries were cooked perfectly and the burger wasn't overcooked which has happened several times at their other locations. If you are like me and have lost some faith in Five Guys then come back to this location to remember why you fell in love with these guys in the first place.

Besides the fact that 5uys rocks, this place is lovely. they have their own parking area and the giant peanut thing. The burger is great and tasty.

Simply awesome burger with fresh add-ons. Even the buns that encapsulate the tasty burger are of the highest quality. Allow me to end the debate: 5 guys beats In-and-Out every time.

Well I can't speak to the actual meat burgers but the veggie sandwich we had from Five Guys was pretty good. It didn't even make me miss In-n-Out...that much. Ton of fries for the price, though they were kind of meh, they're not the Ore Ida style fries they have at Shake Shack (they should get shakes!), but they aren't amazing either. Decent.

Yes, I know. There are plenty of other places to go, but it takes FOREVER to get ANYWHERE in the DC area. For example, it took 10 minutes to get from one side of I-95, where my hotel was, to Five Guys, which I COULD SEE FROM MY HOTEL ROOM! Rant, over.

The only reason I got to Five Guys is to consume a days worth of calories and fat in one meal. This craziness doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's such a delicious treat. Burger? Juicy and awesome. Fries? Tasty and awesome. Service? A little slow given my extreme need for beefy goodness.

Five Guys is a chain, but it doesn't feel like one. That, along with the unapologetic burgers, is why I will continue to visit this establishment. Plus, it'll motivate you to hit that treadmill.

I love Five Guys. To sum it up in short: cheap, extremely tasty food in large quantities.

If I order a large portion of their Cajun fries, they will feed me for 2 days. That's a fact.

What can I say, it's 5 Guys. I mean really, when you review an establishment like this, that has been around for years, and they have won numerous awards for how good their food is, the only thing I can review is how clean the place is, and how good is the service. So here goes:

The place is pretty clean, in a pretty average Springfield neighborhood. As for the service it was outstanding. My wife asked for her burger to be all the way and she forgot that mushrooms was part of that. The folks went out of their way to make sure no mushrooms were on her burger.

Nice place that we will be going back to.

Love this place. Ate here today and like always the burger and fries were great.

I love how you can taste the char burnt taste of their patties and how you can add any toppings for free. However, their buns get soggy too fast and the patty is a little thin in the Little Burger. Price is good. Service is adequate for a fast-food joint. Great fries and they do give you a lot of it.

Tip: Order the small fries and it will feed 3.

Call ahead or order online for your lunch break.
Juicy, cheesy burgers. The fries don't make me ill like most places.

The only thing that could bring this place from the 4.5 stars I'm giving it to 5 would be cooking these great tasting burgers over an open flame.

This place makes the best burgers in DC.

Come hungry.

The burgers here are absolutely mouth-watering. They never get it wrong. I'm not too sure what the big deal is about their peanut oil-fried fries though. Guess I just don't like my fries thick.

Not sure what I can really say about Five Guys that isn't said all the time. Good, greasy burgers that they serve up with some hot fries. Although, they won't grill jalapenos for me here like they will at the location off Beauregard. I still love it here though.

Of all their locations for some reason this is the best. Maybe it has something to do with the service. Speedy and attentive. Moist buns. (Not those kind, perverts) Juicy meat. (If you are still on that train of thought then you need to be on http://plentyoffish.com) Delectable fries. Close your eyes and think chocolate cake and after realizing your eating their fries you wont want the chocolate cake anymore. Love you, 5 GUYS.

Had heard rave reviews of this place ever since we moved up to this area, so finally I took the dive. And now, I feel bad that we didn't take my sister when she was visiting! Yum!! No beef for me, so I had a grilled cheese. Hailing from so cal, I was hoping for something like In N Out's grilled cheese. It wasn't quite the same, but still soo good in it's own way! Grilled sourdough, with a few nice pieces of American cheese in between. I added lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo & ketchup, and it was AWESOME! We also ordered a medium fry, which was basically a 12 oz cup, overflowing double it's size. But those fries were great too! And, they have free salted peanuts to snack on before you get your burgers.

Yummmaaaaay!

First time eating here during lunch with a co worker and this place didn't let me down... I wanted to wait to eat at In-N-Out... but HELLO I'm from the east coast and these five guys are yelling out my name. Anyways a burger and regular fries are HUGE portioned so I got my moneys worth. I was supposed to wait for the bf to try this for the first time but who couldn't resist ? I can go for the second time with him! Their burgers are juicy and delicious... it's just that eating them at lunch time makes you sleepy... or makes me sleepy at least... but you gotta try it if you're craving for a juicy, flavorful, burger... oh, and it wasn't as greasy as I thought it would be! ok nap time...

I don't *heart* this branch because when they put cheese on a grilled cheese, they just heat up the bread and then throw the cheese in the middle before packing it up to let you take home. That works in the hamburger, but not in a grilled cheese! Grilled bread w/cold cheese = this unhappy camper. It's happened twice now. Cold cheese = also not awesome in the veggie sandwiches. I love Five Guys....just not this one.

Some of my best high school memories involve this place. Whenever you wanted a really good burger, and I mean really good, this is where you would come. Before there were Five Guys everywhere, this was the closest one to my high school and we were willing to drive 20 minutes to get here, because the burgers were so good.

When you walk in, you can tell that the joint has a very homey atmosphere, and there's a huge carboard box of peanuts on the floor. This is the kind of place where you can eat peanuts by the handful, as many as you want, and just drop the shells on the floor! It's so great.

There are about 15 different toppings you can get on your burger, and they're all fresh. You order at the counter, and they get it done fast. The burgers themselves are HUGE, and the toppings just sort of ooze out of it (it's impossible to eat it without it falling apart). They're greasy and delicious and really just hit the spot. It's like a heart attack on a plate.

The fries are the best fries I've ever had as well, and that's because they're so ridiculously greasy. Beware ordering large fries! Small fries are already probably more than you want. Large fries come in a huge paper bag, dripping with grease, and are enough for 3 people, at least.

These are hands-down the best burgers and fries I've ever had. Everything is all-natural, fresh, and dripping with grease. It doesn't get any better than this. I live in CA now, and Five Guys is one of the few things I really miss.

It is what it is: simple and good. Just put in your order and it's QUICKLY done with FRESH ingredients.

Burgers are always done well and you can put any amount of ingredients on it for free (though a few items you pay extra).

The large fries is LARGE so enjoy - comes in a Styrofoam cup and in a paper bag.

NUT ALLERGIES - they only serve peanuts in the restaurant, you are not allowed to take any out. VV, don't walk in if you have nut allergies.

The fountain soda there has never disappointed - always fizzy and flavorful, never flat.

What a burger! The building does need some remodeling, but are the burgers great!!! Made to order and full of tasty flavor.

The fries are to die for! They are outstanding the the regular size is much more than enough for two people.

They stick to the basics....great burgers, great fries, great service.

A great place to take the family for a great alternative to the evil empire!

Great American style hamburgers that are all natural and made to order just the way you want them. Fries are fresh made as well as everything else you can order. I'm from Cali so I'd have to compare it to In-n-Out.

Five Guys is a great place to go with your friends at any point. We used to drive all the way here from Vienna just for the burgers and fries.

Fries are made in peanut oil, which is a nice change from the crap they normally use.

Walk in, help yourself to some peanuts and relax, the line moves quickly and the wait is worth it. Grab a cheeseburger and chow down. It's a darn good deal. I normally hit this place after kayaking/playing soccer in the area. My mouth is already watering for the next one

Ahhhh! Five Gizzles. BEST BURGERS EVER. I live in California now and just to let everyone know, IN-And-Out SUCKS! Im not even going to compare them to five guys. Ive been going here since i was in high school and had friends who used to work here. No one likes to believe it but im responsible for spreading the word about 5 gizzles.
THIS IS THE BURGER THAT I COMPARE ALL OTHER BURGERS TO. I had a friend from cali go to DC for a week and I told him to eat five guys. After many years of debate, he now agrees with me all the way.

This location is one of the better ones that I have had but I think the woodbridge location is the best. I lived in Reston and would drive all the way to springfield or woodbridge just to get this burger.
If you havnt tried it...keep sleepin son!
6 STARS ALL THE WAY EVEN COMPARED TO TOP NOTCH RESTAURANTS WITH $30 BURGERS.

Even though I live in SoCal now and have lots of burger places to choose from, I still miss Five Guys every once in a while. The peanut shells on the floor, the greasy bags of fries, and the tastiest burgers in Northern Virginia. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I've been to a bunch of the Five Guys locations in the area. This one seems to be the best. The food is made quick and is great. Whenever friends visit from out of town I take them here and they are amazed with how great the burgers are.
