I was told by a fellow local that this was a 'local spot'. After all, it is off the beatin' path, no sign out front & only a red light above the door. I felt like it was something out of a movie & was super excited to venture inside. I was expecting this place to be super chill. Well, other than the very frigid temperature inside, chill this place WAS NOT! Everyone there was very pretentious and most of them were clearly tourists. And....$33 for 2 rum and cokes? Ridiculous. No thanks I'll go elsewhere.
Review Source:You know its a good place when there's JUST a door. No line with promoters trying to sell bottles. No crowd out front. Â I followed a friend down an alley off 14th and Alton to Fox's and was immediately greeted by a solid two story venue, with booth seating and a full U bar. Crowd was locals pre-partying for the night and chatty!
Review Source:So I came on Yelp to write my review, then my eyes wandered onto reading what others had to say.
I'm not sure why the girls complain about the girl:guy ratio. It's to their favor. Which leads me to believe they hate the place because they were unsuccessful in getting at least 1 free drink from the sea of men that occupy Foxhole.
But anyways, I have no complaints. This place is a bar. So the "decor", music, and smoke smell is just what is expected. Not to mention the smell of cigarettes is nothing compared to Teds, or Lost Weekend. It's a bar, get over it. The drink prices I thought were fair for the place itself. Again, if you want dirt cheap you go to places that really do smell like an ashtray.
Any night that leads me to end up in an alley bar, is a good night for me :)
I FOUND FOXHOLE!
Hidden. Clean. Man cave-y.
They have a big projection screen for the sports games, and being a Huge heat fan, it's the perfect place to catch the game. It gets busier as the night progresses but the drink specials are worth trying, so catch the first half of the game there. They don't serve food, but I was able to order in from LIME which is conveniently down the street, and I had my lime queso at the bar no problem!
Been a few times on the weekends, too. They have a DJ and it gets really busy. Never disappoints when looking for that "End of the Night" beer spot. (Note: they have a pretty wide beer selection, and all the bartenders are nice and attentive)
I'll be making my way here again soon. Hopefully for The Finals. Go Heat!
To be honest, I hate this place. The place stinks like an ash tray. I'm creeped out by all the guns in a bar, but it's a nice exhibit showing a variety of eras. The music is ok, but nothing really worthy dancing to. Definitely more guys here than girls, which makes me wonder if this is just a hangout for guys with all the arcade games, pool table, and darts.
Would prefer to go somewhere else, especially if you're dressed Miami style. but any other day besides weekend + casual clothes - this would be a great way to spend time with your fellow men. Just not for me though.
Thank God for Yelp. I'm glad that I have somewhere to post this story... it needs to be read.
I'm titling this: WORST EXPERIENCE AT A BAR EVER.
I'm a local to Miami Beach and have lived here for over four years. Through my four years I have seen many bars come and go. Here is to hoping that Foxhole goes down the hole sometime soon...
I've never been so insulted in my life.
I work in the industry (on Miami Beach as a manager at a restaurant.) Both of the other ladies who were with me the night of the incident are also managers at a restaurant.
CONRAD GOMEZ (Apparently one of the bar OWNERS) slammed the bar door down so hard it literally spilled some of my drink and made all three of us ladies gasp.
It sounded like a gun shot. Mind you, there are literally guns hanging on the walls so it wouldn't be that surprising. It seriously scared the *&^* out of us. The part of the bar that slammed down was right next to me and in front of the other girls.
Conrad starts cracking up. This is the funniest situation in the world to him. Apparently he thinks he is Gods gift to earth or something. Hey Conrad, no one thought it was funny. Especially us. My friend says, "Excuse me?" He says, "What?" She says "Excuse Me, you're a jerk."
Conrad looks at her, calls over the bartenders and says, "Tab these girls out and tell them to get the F* OUT OF MY BAR!!!"
Way to go Conrad! Â Not only are you burning bridges between people in the industry who send you business, but also locals who live close by and bring their friends on a weekly basis.
The best part? he had to tell the bartenders to tell us to get out, he couldn't even look at us in the face to tell us himself. HA!
Can you imagine? Out with your friends and the bar OWNER has the audacity to speak to his clientele like this? So moronic.
The manager on duty was a sweetheart. You could tell he was so embarrassed by the owners behavior. He actually followed us outside to offer us free drinks at another time. Sorry, my money would rather go to ANY other establishment on Miami Beach besides Foxhole.
Besides the awful situation last night, there are plenty of other reasons to find another bar to visit. The lighting is bad, bar disgustingly smoky, bartenders rude, and interior ugly.
:End of Rant.
EDIT: Oops! I just found out that the kind man who helped us was NOT Angel... I guess he was the Manager on Duty that evening... Here is to hoping that someone passes this review along to Angel, the other bar owner. You should be embarrassed by your business partner, my friend.
I like this place.
Sexy location.
Inexpensive drinks and no entry fee. Yay!
Lots of  flat screens, a pool table and a fantastic jukebox.
Bartenders are friendly and the drinks are tasty.
I wasn't jazzed about the unfriendly tall bald guy (bouncer maybe) located at the entrance but once you get past him you don't need to see him again until
you leave. One way in same way out kinda place.
Preface:
I went to Foxhole for the 1st time last night (Saturday night) with a friend.
Pros:
1) For South Beach, the prices are fine. I paid $10 for a vodka soda plus tip.
2) It's not a dive bar, more of an upscale joint that's completely hidden from the street.
3) No cover. I absolutely hate cover and they don't charge it here so that's a plus.
4) The music was a pleasant change from the usual house music that Sobe nightlife offers. The DJ/jukebox was throwing out some 80's, 90's, and recent jams that most of the crowd knew and can belt out the chorus to. Some areas the music wasn't so loud so you can socialize.
5) There's seating for those lucky few.
Cons:
1) The interior was a complete buzz kill to me and which is why I only can give it 2 stars and will not be on my return list. Ok stay with me here. Foxhole is basically a square with a smaller square bar in the middle of it. What's wrong with that you might say? What's wrong is that it gives only what seems like a 6 foot radius for people to stand and walk around. That means a lot of bumping and drinks spilling. It also means walking around is a challenge and finding a spot to stay to avoid getting bumped is a challenge.
There's an upstairs which shares the same flaw. It's a square but instead of a big bar in the middle, there's just nothing so you're against the edge looking over the bar below. Again, it is very narrow all the way around. Just a waste of space.
My last beef is the paint job. There's very little on the walls and the whole bar is covered with a color known as "trendy upscale anf off-myself depressing gray".
2) I got charged a $2 service charge for using my debit card. I've never seen that before. So my first drink was $12 plus tip. After that, I paid cash.
Neutral:
The crowd. It was busy which I like but there was a 3:1 guy to girl ratio. I guess when there's no cover and since all Sobe clubs comp everything for girls, that's what you get.
Overall: If you're with a group, come early and grab a table, and don't find staring at gray depressing, give it a shot.
Sadly we had an awful time at Foxhole and now jokingly call it Hellhole. It pains me to read these positive reviews when it feels as though they're talking about a different venue.
First let me say I'm visiting from NYC so there really are only 2 types of bars/lounges: classy venue, and just  a bar. I feel a little misled because to look at their website this appeared to be a classy venue. It sadly was not. Then you have other reviewers saying it transported them to a big city vibe, and I say on the contrary, no, it did not.
The whole "walk down this alley to find the entrance to a secret treasure" is just a gimmick. From the $20 valet parking to the poorly made drinks, this place revealed itself to be just a bar.
Negatives: $20 valet parking, poorly made drinks, grunge decour, sports playing on the big screens, lecherous customers
Positives: friendly waitress, music was solid
I am happy to say I went out all 7 nights I was in Miami, so there are some truly wonderful classy venues to be found. Sadly, it was not to be so at Foxhole.
Been there two times as it is really close to my house. Be prepared that staff can kick you out from the table because they want to serve bottle service to a bigger party. Do not expect much as it is south beach after all.
Also be aware that they collect your driver license information for absolutely no reason.
There is an excellent bar a couple of blocks away - abbey brewing company.
So I've been here a couple of times already and I must say, it's probably one of my favorite bars in Miami. It's just a hassle that it's all the way at the beach. Anyways, this is still a great place! Live DJ who spins some great records, no cover, drinks are a tad bit high but still ok, and just a great vibe overall. It can get packed with tourists which is a downside. Not much of a local vibe, but still a great place to meet people or have a great time with a group of friends nonetheless. Foxhole is a must go!
Review Source:My new favorite bar... loved the place. I had been hearing about it for quite some time and started to see more and more of my friends checking in here on the weekends. So, I finally decided to stop by on Saturday night as part of my hopping around the beach. I was very pleasantly surprised and that's not often. The place is not much as you may or may not know. Yes, the entrance is in the alley (some don't like this; I couldn't care less). Yes, it's small, but that's part of its appeal. Loved the music, the ambience, and the drinks are very reasonably priced for being on the beach. Will definitely be back shortly...
Review Source:Ehhh, I like you Foxhole!
You're very discreet, I like that. Foxhole is inside a warehouse with two large steels doors that make you feel like you're on the set of a Saw movie. I assure you it's nothing like that once you enter. (....or is it?!)
But let's not get into that quite yet, I wanna get into the valet. I'm not exactly sure what they charge, because they charged SEVEN people in my party all different prices (from as cheap as $10 to as expensive as $35). Some people even arrived at the same hour, so it's not like the price varied by the time. Sketchy. I'd just park across the street.
Anyways, back to Foxhole. The interior is nice; clean and simple. There's one mega bar on the first floor and a mini one at the top. The place really picks up after  midnight.
We cebrated a co-workers birthday on the 2nd floor, we had our own lounge. Our waitress was pretty rad, she was funny and attentive. She didn't lose her patience once although it was loud and everyone was barking their drink orders to her. Mad props, cool waitress woman.
You'll have a good time, it's kinda pricey ($12 for a small jack and coke), but you are in the heart of Miami after all . Dalè.
I love Foxhole so much! It is the complete opposite of the typical South Beach pretentious scene.
They have valet available, happy hour and a very interesting decor!
I love the fact that every time I go I run into a Heat player or some kind of famous person.
They love it because its a hidden gem that not everyone knows about.
"The place was nice, music was ok, service was ok too, prices are not speaking 'easy.'"
That was what my boyfriend had to say.
And I agree. I found it hard to wrap my head around spending roughly $100 on just 6 drinks, simple ones at that too. Where are the craft cocktails and martinis? For a place that's hidden, I would've expected something better than a normal gin and tonic, which the bartender even messed up by making it sweet and syrupy. Gin and tonics are supposed to be dry. Dry dry dry.
Anyway, she was nice enough to throw that one out and make a new one without an extra charge.
This place is fun for tourists, but I don't know if we'll be back again to hang.
TIP: A writer told us that the bar was right behind the Domino's, no signs no anything else. My boyfriend and I would recommend following the red lights, and knocking on a door next to a garage.
The first time I was here, I loved it. The bar has a chic atmosphere and design with friendly, attractive bartenders and the drinks were reasonably priced. The crowd seemed cool, and it was awesome watching the Heat game with the drop down projection screen. The next couple of times I went, I noticed on the weekend it has a bar pick up atmosphere but the ratio is like 5:1 guys:girls. The bar isn't sure if it's a sports bar or a hook up bar. Despite the odd niche it finds itself in, I still keep on coming back, the crowd just can be hit or miss.
Review Source:I've been here several times and I will keep coming back. It's always a busy spot with locals and filled with beautiful people. Its a great place to mingle and meet up with friends. There's a jukebox early and I like when Sharpsound spins later on. For those of you who think the prices are expensive you should just stay home. A $5 Budlight and a $10 well drink is not expensive by beach standards. Even when it gets busy later on the bartenders are very pleasant, fast paced and on top of their game. My regular bartender Chantell with the blue hair is always energetic, happy and makes a great drink! The owners have done a great job with this place and if you haven't been you should check it out as there is always an event going on.
Review Source:Foxhole is great. Â I have nothing bad to say about the staff or drink prices, but I will comment on both.
STAFF: Â They're all awesome. Â I'm a pretty low maintenance customer, I only get beer so it's kind of tough to get that one wrong so for those of you who are frustrated because the staff made your raspberry spritzer with a little too much hooch in it . . . I can't sympathize.
For those who complain, it has helped me find a secondary use for the Foxhole Yelp Ratings. Â People who complain about the staff. Â You sound like assholes, so I assume you probably are (please take offense, I very much mean for you to), I can't imagine that we would ever agree on anything, so I am going to steer clear of the places you frequent.
PRICE: Â No complaints. Â For those of you (Papa S.) who think it's too pricey. Â I went ahead and took a look at the places that blow your hair back.
1. Starbucks: 4 Stars, Starbucks is the poster child for overpriced products sourced from the 3rd world.
2. Rosa Mexicano: Â One of the most overpriced and underwhelming places I can think of.
What the?
A friend from my building told me about this bar and then ended up taking a few of us there last night. Let me just say, I was NOT expecting this type of bar in the pretentious South Beach scene.
I have been a victim of the club scene for too long and was in desperate need of a normal night out. I definitely found my new go-to bar. This place is two floors, no frills, just a bar. It's not the type of bar that will have you sticking to the floor though.
The music was great and definitely gave my ears a nice break from the boom boom boom south beach music that has my ears ringing for days. This place is a little hard to find and fills up SUPER quick so get there early!
Well, I gave it another chance after receiving a message from them that they have lowered there prices.... yeah, I did not notice that at all. Â Last night, redbull/vodka for $17, Patron shot for $13, etc. Â Once again, this is the bay side of the beach, not the Delano, not Prime Group. Â Get your prices in order. Â Barton G's drinks (Sabrinatini) are even $18, and much better, and next door (and you get a chocolate monkey). Â I will say that the bar tender we had last night was top notch.
Review Source:Foxhole is ideal for those looking for a speakeasy-style venue with the Miami Beach flare. If you are looking for a dive bar, this might not be an ideal spot, but it definitely sets its place in Miami Beach as a very sleek bar with the cozy feel that could get locals coming back for more. It definitely keeps those who don't know about the area away given that it is off the beaten path and tedious to find if you haven't been before.
I would recommend visiting during weekdays, given that the weekend traffic can tend to be very heavy, taking away from it's charm. The music tends to lean towards old-school and top-40 hip-hop when a DJ is on board.
how do you find this place? look for the red light above the entrance door in a side alley...yeap..no sign...
But once you walk in, it feels like somehow..you've been tricked...and in a good way! I was expecting a dive bar since it's in an alley with no sign..but nope. This place is a two floor full on bar with a pool table, nice lounge feel and great drinks. The second floor has a nice seating area with waiter service and a backwall full of guns...yeah..I know..but interesting to look at.
Great spot to visit during the week.
Cool venue ruined by 3 serious issues:
(1) Foxhole sets the record for the rudest staff I've ever seen; it feels a lot like you're trying to have a drink in the middle of a football scrimmage. You will literally be shoved around...all night (male or female).
(2) What kind of "locals joint" charges $15 for a drink? Which brings me to my final point...
(3) This is not a "locals joint." This is a venue like every other venue on the beach that simply added the word "locals" to their description in an effort to attract tourists seeking a "locals" experience.
Whether you had a rough day, just broke up with your girlfriend or simply dont give a sh** - here are your choices for South Beach grungiest watering holes with FOXHOLE on top. These dives will sink your sorrow on a low budget, and you dont even have to take a shower:
Club Deuce 222 14th St
Kill Your Idol 222 Espanola way
Love Hate 423 Washiongton Ave
Purdy Lounge 1811 Purdy Ave
Ted`s Hideway 124 Second st
I'm not so harsh to criticize this bar as much as some of my other YP-brethren.
It's hard to find, since the entrance is pretty discrete. Â But finding it is kinda the fun part and Foxhole does fill the void that nearby Quarter Deck left behind when the closed down. Â Go to HELL Panera BREAD ! Â : p
It only appears like an underground(speakeasy) from the outside, but it's fairly polished inside.
Dark, no windows, it has a 2nd floor that over looks and surrounds the center of the main bar on the first floor.
Granted some nights the Foxhole overachieves it's South Beach Douche-bag quota, but I have to admit, I've gone some nights and the dj's have been decent. Â Better than average for Miami.
The spot has flatscreens and doubles as a sports bar. Â So you can catch a game there one evening. Â Not necessarily a destination spot, but makes for a decent stop over to wet your whistle.
I've been meaning to write a review, but figured it's redundant. Â Foxhole is lame and has overpriced drinks. I visited here with my bf after moving here from Brooklyn. Super homesick for a local spot. There's a cavelike, Game of Thrones quality to this space. This ain't it. I was hoping to find a speakeasy type spot. Oye. Not so much. I'd have added a star for the jukebox, but how about after I dropped 5 or 7 bucks, all of a sudden it got turned off and a DJ began playing to the empty club.
Now what's funny (and moved me to write) was that my bf just came in with the mail and there's a flyer for a new Foxhole Happy Hour, 5-8 pm with reduced drinks. Okay, so someone is paying attention. But helloooo...this is summer in Miami. Why oh why would I want to sit in dark Foxhole when it's nice out? How about drink specials for locals on a certain night...or some kind of relevant and clever draw?
I'd rather sit out by my pool with wine and a freaking boom box.
After my late night weekend venture here, I can imagine 2 types of people here:
1) Dudes wanting to lounge at an upscale sports bar and watch a game.
2) One time visitors intruiged by the lure of a 'secret' bar. Like me.
I have to admit that searching, er stumbling down allyways provided some laughs and excitment as my out of town friends and I poked around. The red light and heavy double doors seems sexy from the outside, but as others have noted, rather disappointing upon enterence. Â I thought the place was pretty boring and lacked character. Or maybe I'm thinking of the guys on South Beach? Â I digress. At any rate, we had one overpriced drink each and left high-5'ing that we found the destination but ready to hunker down somewhere else. The DJ was fun, spinning some old school jams, while a hockey game was on, and a bathroom attendent in the ladies room expected tips for handing us paper towels. It was all a bit confusing. Maybe the foxhole will figure out their identity, or maybe it likes being mysterious.
Sidenote: High ceilings and bright TV glare don't make for a cozy or fun environment that chicks dig, or this chick, at least. Maybe that's why we were the only 3 females inside on a Saturday late night.
I would actually give this bar 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact you can smoke in there (sorry, I'm a spoiled California girl and appreciate clean air :-)
Other than that, Foxhole is my favorite kind of  bar. Good jukebox music, TVs to watch sports, a pool table, big areas to sit and on average, the drinks were way less expensive than your big scene bar areas in Miami Beach.
Plus, I have to admit the fact that it's hard to find (in a little alley way with just a red light above the door) makes it feel more intriguing and exclusive!
Miami is a city that loves exclusivity - and what can be more exclusive than a "secret" bar? Â Walking into the alley behind the subway is certainly shady - but behind the unmarked steel door is the entrance to the Foxhole. Â But once you enter that steel door, all illusions of this being an underground speakeasy go away. Â
The inside of the Foxhole definitely shows the owners spent a significant investment in this venue. Â There is an area to play pool, a large modern bar, digital jukebox, and couches and several flat screen TVs upstairs. Â The decor is very modern chic even featuring several antique guns mounted on the walls upstairs.
Unfortunately the owners have to pay for this great interior somehow and typical beach drink prices reign inside. Â Still, we had a great time here on a Friday night - the DJ was cranking some old school classics and the place was packed with talent. Â
This is definitely a cool spot to check out and impress your date. I'd come here again, but I wouldn't say it was awesome enough to be on permanent rotation.
3.5 stars.
From the outside, there's a ton of allure. The discreet and muted red light suggesting this -might- be the entrance and the excitement to find out what lay beyond the door was already intoxicating! Before you walk in, you're likely imagining fresh and fancy cocktails, maybe some cabaret, bodacious vixens in fishnets lounging in banquettes. You know, the kind of energy from good ol' Fox's or another darkened speakeasy.
Then you enter... a total man cave with flat screens all over a giant electronic jukebox, a pool table and the overwhelming eau de cigarette. Unfortunately, I found the cocktails were overpriced and even worse, my drinks came with an attitude. My kind of place it wasn't but for a someone looking for a spendy evening in a sleek sport's speakeasy, I'm sure this bachelor pad is paradise.
I believe in you, Foxie! You are conceptually perfect. Cool mobster feel by being in an alley. Nice decor. Kind of a fancy speakeasy vibe.
But here's the beef:
2 Hendricks and Tonic: 25 dollars. Yes I know, I am fancy, (huh) but still a little steep. And they were a little on the light side.
Heat game was on (like I cared) but this is not a sports bar, so you should still have music and maybe CC the game.
It was early, like 930, but the place just had no energy. Maybe because no music.
Bartenders weren't adding or subtracting from the feel of the place. They could just use robots instead, since the transactions would feel the same, and use those savings to help bring down the drink prices. Mr. Foxhole, you can thank me now. I knew a should have been a consultant.
Please come up with some specials, get a little positive momentum and don't get too cocky, otherwise you will just turn into another overpriced toolbox like a lot of your competition in Brickell.
Before I went to Foxhole for the first time I came on to yelp and read the reviews. I figured it was worth a shot. The place is a little hard to find. Anyone you ask just says, "Red light in the alley". It really is just an unmarked door with a red light in an alley. When the door opened I was pleasantly surprised. The place is beautiful. It has a pool table and a huge bar on the 1st floor with TVs everywhere and 3 tables. Upstairs there are a ton of chairs and two separate tables. Unlike most places in Miami, the tables don't go to the highest bidder or to the guys buying bottles. It's first-come-first-serve for most of the tables, while others are reserved. We saw a party bring in Domino's pizza, which I thought was pretty cool too.
Everyone on Yelp said this place was expensive, I really don't think it was AT ALL. Bud light $5, House red wine $10, well vodka (+ Sprite) $10, bottle of Fiji water $2. That's VERY CHEAP on the beach. Actually that is VERY CHEAP ANYWHERE! Please if you're getting better deals than that in a place this amazing, you should tell me about it!
We arrived at about 11PM and the place wasn't crowded. It really just looked like a lot of decently dressed locals. At about 1AM the place started to fill up, but since we were upstairs there was plenty of room. The service was excellent and the music was fantastic. I think they have a sort of juke box request system, which is fun.
Overall, I have to give this place 5 stars because I can't wait to go back. Anyone who thinks $5 is too expensive for beer on the beach needs to tell me where they're going because I have paid way more at the grove!
I knew I would like this place when I saw that it has no storefront. It is hidden and has all of the amenities a good bar should have. Nice seating (upstairs), a pool table, a juke box, a DJ on certain nights, a wrap around bar and dim lighting. I have heard and read about the outrageous prices and i have to say that i have not experienced that. To be honest, i was actually surprised that the drinks were not $17 a pop. I believe I paid $25 or $27 for 2 scoth on the rocks. I believe this is due to the fact that it is new and that they try to get away with unstable prices ;)
All in all, i recommend this place, it is a change of pace from the usual SoBe spots!
Overall when I walked in and saw Reservoir Dogs playing on the flatscreen with Jay Z mixed into and MGMT song, I knew I found a new home.
Loved this place but I didn't pay to drink so... if I did I probably would give it fewer stars. There is no reason for any basic drink (captain morgan and ginger) to be over $10.00. Drinks needs to be priced jussst right. High enough to keep the trashy people out but low enough to make the locals feel they have a secret spot just for them and the very few tourists who are truly in the know. So please lower the prices jusssst a teeeeny tad pleeeeeese. Or here's an idea (because I am a marketing genius) have a "Wheel of Foxhole" at the bar which get's spun every half hour to reveal a new drink special for the next 30 minutes. Hot bartender spins and the wheel lands on 2 for one shots of Makers Mark. Half hour goes by spin again. $3.00 RUM drinks. Spin again $3.00 vodka drinks etc etc...
I went on a Saturday night and by midnight it was good. Not insanely crowded but enough of a crowd to have a vibe which was a healthy awesome mix of people. LOVE IT reminds me of a spot you'd find in the Lower East Side. If this place was in NYC there would be a line wrapped around 15th street to get in. But this is South Beach. And for that I love you.
You walk in and immediately POOL TABLE with vintage video games. TV's everywhere.
Walk in a bit more and it's a center bar with ample room to stand around, lounge tables in these little nooks and ZERO requirement to buy a bottle in order to sit in them. LOVE IT!
Then there's an upstairs level with vintage rifles on the wall. I wish they did more to integrate the whole War/Foxhole theme. The decor is a bit bland but if they did more with the war theme it could be a good blend of theme but not on a cheesy level.
The music was HANDS DOWN THE BEST in all of south beach. If you want to hear: hip hop, rap, heavy metal, top 40, 80's, indy rock, 80's alternative AND NO house music techno THIS IS THE SPOT! A yuppie lawyer, pro football player, goth chick and skater boy walk into a bar... no, this isn't the start of a joke. This is what Foxhole is about.
It's a pure example of democratic partying at it's finest. However as not to mistakenly cater to the 1% and start an Occupy Foxhole event outside your door, you need to lower your prices or at least come up with creative ways to balance yourself between Delano prices and local spots.
I'll also mention that Foxhole has THE HOTTEST female bartenders PERIOD! They reminded me of NYC bartenders not these skinny model on the side types we see all over SouthBeach. These women are tall and thick with insane bodies and look like they can kick some ass. If they were dolls I'd collect all 5 and make them fight and have adventures. They wear corsets, shorts and boots and have more of an S&M vibe. Again... would have been cool to put the bartenders in military inspired outfits because the corset thing is kinda tired and done to death. Maybe some cut off cammo shorts with boots and a white tanktop with some dogtags?? Make them look like militia. Ass kickers!! Would be hot and something truly unique.
Keep it cool, keep it fresh and KEEP IT LOCAL
I really want to like this place and will definitely give it another chance, because I want to see it do well and we need more places like this to open. It's a great location and should be able to fill a void for places like the original Buck 15, back in the day.
But I went there a few nights ago and just didn't have any fun. First off, they charged us $16 per drink. If you want to attract locals, then don't rip us off. I have lived in South Beach for 12 years and don't want to be taken advantage of. I want you to make money, but $16 is what the Delano charges. Second, you really need to turn the lights down, it's a bar and supposed to be moody. I also think you need to play some better music, the night I was there, they played Metallica the entire night.
I love the discreet location of Foxhole and will give it another chance for sure. I think it  has great potential and look forward to making it one of my new hangouts.
