  GCC markets itself as a combination Deli/Catering/Chef service. I've experienced it exclusively as a venue for receptions, fundraisers, and meetings. The Crystal Room (larger space) is well lit, and very lovely. The Cherub Room (smaller space) has no windows, white walls, tiled floors, a Greek Revival sort of aesthetic that, even with imported floral displays, is just a little too stark for me.
  
  This weekend, I was there for a fundraiser in the smaller room while a reception was taking place in the larger. The food was good, but the buffet service was about 15 minutes behind schedule getting started (it must be difficult to serve two large rooms at approximately the same time). Bill was especially helpful in greeting people at the door, directing them to the proper space, and in helping with our audio-visual set up.
