Genesis Bar & Restaurant

The service in this place can go from great to nothing... I was there late nite last week and the bartender took forever to see me he was hanging out at the other end of the bar and when i did get my drink it was wrong maybe he was the one drinking... sure looked like it.
If your going to do that kinda thing at least be aware of paying customers who are thirsty...

Nothing breathtaking, but a solid, generally friendly place to grab a drink or a decent meal, which is somewhat do a rarity in this neighborhood.

Came here on a whim as the happy hour prices roped us in. We sat outside and it was nice and comfortable. The service wasn't anything to write home about but I wasn't unhappy with it either. The food was alright but I wish they would toast the buns of the burgers or something. Overall the food and service were okay but I wouldn't come back again because nothing about our experience stood out to us as being exceptional or above average. In fact, I'm pretty confident I can make a better burger. I guess you get what you pay for?
