It's the sister bar of the infamously good Amsterdam Ale House at 76th and Amsterdam.
Same concept. Â Pub decor. Â A bit dark. Â Lots of wood. Â Dinner tables and communal areas to sit.
Good draft and beer selection. Â It's a great selection of local, regional, national, and international brews. Â Usually very well curated.
I haven't had the food but it sure smells good while we are drinking.
The crowd is diverse and enthusiastic. Â Not in a trendy or young way. Â
A great place for a drink with a good happy hour. Â $5 a beer during those times.
Yeah.
Went back to third avenue last night
The chef is hitting it out of ball park
The food is incredible
Not your usual bar fare not even close
The wonderful Olga was at the door
Made sure everything was perfect
And tried  to steer me toward healthier choices
No chance of that
Wings. Roasted garlic soup and angus quesadilla. Â
Great night
I've been here twice now - once for dinner and once for brunch.
For dinner, my husband ordered the red snapper burrito. Interesting flavors going on there. I ordered the lamb burger. It needed a bit more something.... sauce, maybe?
For brunch I ordered the veggie burger. Pretty good, but nothing to rave about. They do offer $4 mimosas for brunch, though, which is nice.
There are also TVs for those who want to watch sports, though I wouldn't call this a sports bar. Because it's in my neighborhood and relatively inexpensive, I'll be back, but I wouldn't make a special trip.
