Skip Internet dating (yes, this includes Yelp) and go directly to trivia. The Gael Pub hosts trivia on Tuesday nights. This gives you some prime opportunities to meet people, and to maybe meet someone who knows a lot of worthless information that will come in handy... Never.

From a female's perspective, I like guys who have good memories because then there is no excuse to forget birthdays and anniversaries. If you know how many soldiers died in the civil war (according to historians it is roughly 625,000) you can remember my birthday.

The bar is also crowded. Like, jam-packed and standing room only. This gives guys the opportunity to offer a chair to a pretty girl, even if its just for one round.

Another option: If you buy a pitcher of beer then your team gets a ticket that you can turn in with your answer sheet to pass on a tricky question. While generally I am not a fan of trivia that allows you to buy answers, this does allow you to pretend that you're just very competitive when it comes to trivia, as you pass her another beer and continue to chat her up.

In the end, even if you lose the game you just might find a girl.

Worst bar I've had the misfortune of going to.  Unluckily, we found ourselves here during the parade on the 17th.  The drinks were the most expensive we've come across that day and to top it off they were watered down.  50/50!  Terribly gross!  This bar has no right to be in business.  There were 5 of us and we all ordered different drinks and they were all watered down.  Go here if you want to drink the equivalent of piss for an outrageous price!
