This is one of the most intimate wine bars in NYC.  A very small, romantic venue just off Second Avenue.  The ambience is dark with deep red colors and candlelight all over the room - reflected off the mirrors.

The proprietor, Carlos, knows his wine and is an excellent host.  I got here early for a date and Carlos entertained me for 15 minutes, talking about wine, life, and love.  He let me sample quite a few before I made my final decision.

This place is a great date spot--stop in here after dinner for a quiet nook to keep talking and snuggling
