Decided to try this place using a $10 off coupon for dinner that came in the mail. The coupon stated the restaurant is under new ownership with a new chef and has a 12 tap bar with rotating craft brews.
The menu is reasonably priced even without the coupon, there is a large selection of soups, appetizers and salads, sandwiches and entrees. Â The service was prompt and courteous as well. Â There are two rooms, a dining room (which seems to be very popular with senior citizens) and a bar area with 3 flat screen tvs. We preferred the atmosphere in the bar, as the clientele in the main dining room made us feel we were in a retirement home! Later on, though, we noticed some families with young children.
The food was tasty, though somehow I was expecting more from the new chef supposedly of Savona and A La Maison.  This is basic well executed pub food but definitely not a "foodie" destination. If you are looking for a comfortable, moderately priced place for  a casual dinner in Ardmore it surely fits the bill.
