Golden Angel Restaurant

I used to come here a lot when I was a child, food is good and the prices are real cheap. Sometimes when I want some decent "all night" food, I come here. I prefer it over Golden Nugget only because they are more expensive. Been around for a long time, so don't go expecting a nice lounge.

I'd give it more of a 3.5. If you want an old school diner with cheap food this is a good spot...

This place feels tired.  For my buck, there are far better Golden [insert noun here] diners in Chicago.  

The food is greasy, and not a good way.  Hot sauce freaks be warned: there is no Cholula, but rest assured, the waitresses have heard that it's popular.  

Also, avoid the bathroom at all costs.
