Not the nicest or fanciest place but it ended up being a fun time. We had a big time dance party!

We came here on a Wednesday night and had a blast... WE did make our own fun but I loved the music that they were playing... Good $4 Bacardi drinks. Bartenders are fun! At first it was an older crowd, but as time passed- there was a mix of all ages...
Give this place a shot- you might just have some fun!

While vacationing in Ocean City, we decided to call in a pickup order on our first night and this place was just a few blocks up. I ordered the Raspberry Turkey Flatbread and my husband got a stuffed burger and both of us were very satisfied, both meals were tasty and the food was ready in less time than they had told us over the phone. Nothing over the top or unique about Greene Turtle but if you're looking for a quick place to get some good food, then this is worth the trip.

let me start by saying this is usually the type of place that I enjoy and we have been to the green turtle in Rehoboth many times and its always been fine.  the service here was just really bad.  we ordered food and 40 + minutes later it was still not ready.  after 20 minutes I tracked down our server (she had not been to our table since taking the order) and asked if our food was almost ready and she said yes it will be right out.  ten minutes later she finally comes back to our table and says she is not sure why it is taking so long.  when it was over 40 minutes after we ordered we had enough and decided to leave.  as we were walking out the door they said the food was finally ready and they had lost the ticket and that what was taking so long.  it was a wrap, a salad and soup...  that should take less than 10 minutes to prepare.  even if they lost the ticket how in the world did it take them that long to realize it and then prepare what we ordered.  pathetic, never going back!

My bf and I went there during an ocean city trip. The service wasn't that great, they didn't really notice us come in but other than that everything was pretty good!

We've been to the Greene Turtle many times over the last several years.  Our family of 5 went there last night for dinner around 6 pm.  I don't think they were ready for the memorial day crowds.  While the service was friendly, they were inattentive and we were left without drinks and condiments (like ketchup) for our food.  When our server did drop something off at the table, she was literally running away to help the next guest and we had to yell to get her attention to ask for drink refills.  Then we wanted to leave the family waited outside for 10 minutes while I stood by the table waiting to pay for the meal.

The appetizers were great, but they were served with our food (and the clams came out after our meals).  The burgers were good, but I would not recommend their fish and chips.  Greasy and not much flavor.

Given the crowd, the loudness, the service and the okay food, we will be searching for a place with more family atmosphere and better service.

For the last few years when we've hit OC MD, we stop at The Turtle at least once, for lunch or dinner. The most recent time was this past Friday, April 26. Got there @6:45, and the place was packed, but we were seated promptly. It was the second night of the NFL Draft, so being a Ravens fan, I was glad that the majority of the TVs were tuned into that .However, the music was cranked up so loud, we couldn't even hold a conversation much less hear the TV. Our server did the best she could, but was a bit slow, but I understand. The food was good as always, nothing mind-blowing, but I've never had a bad meal there. The fish tacos are outstanding. I guess at the ripe old age of 56, lunch is a better option at The Turtle for me. Still a great place, highly recommended.

Haven't eaten here yet, but we did stop by for a few drinks.  The service was good and the place was clean and inviting.  I'll be back to try the food.

Myself and a couple buddies went here on a Saturday evening in October to watch some college football.  The pros were a decent number of TVs, some tables available, a quick waitress, and a decent atmosphere.  The con was at halftime of the game we were watching they cleared us and everyone else to make room for a dance floor.  i had been to multiple Greene Turtles and I've never had a bad meal and the nachos I got were fine from a sports bar perspective.  The beer was an OK price as well.  I would go see a sporting event here again but obviously not on a Friday or Saturday night.  Lesson learned.

Great place to watch a Ravens game, lunch or early dinner.  Good value for OC.  You have to like a loud bar scene to enjoy later dinner or nights.  I don't, but a lot of people do, because TGT is packed most nights.

Clean atmosphere.  Boneless chicken wings with honey BBC & medium hot sauce is sooo good.  The sweet potato fries w/caramel dip is a must to try.

Went here on Saturday night during Bike Week. Very busy! We sat upstairs but there's no waiter service up there - you go to the bar to order your drinks & your food. A server does bring your food out when it's ready, but the rest is all you. There were 4 of us - we had 6 draft beers, 2 jack & cokes, & 4 appetizers. It cost us $80. We thought there was an error, but $80 was right. The wings were really good - prob the best thing I tried. The buffalo chicken dip did not impress me. It was very thick & came with pita chips instead of regular chips (I prefer regular chips). Another appetizer ordered was the Feta Bruschetta - I didn't try this one, but she said it was spicy. She's also very sensitive when it comes to spicy, so I'm not sure how spicy it was. It was fun to come here with friends & have a good time on vacay, but we weren't overly impressed by it. Check out the apparel store though - we got tshirts buy 1 get 1 free. :)

My first time here was my second day in Ocean City, on NFL kick-off Sunday.  The place was packed with Ravens fans, which was awesome, because they rocked the Steelers!

It is obvious that 'The Green Turtle' has branded itself extremely well.  You get an atmosphere one would expect from a sports bar, but at the same time, The Green Turtle has it's own unique feel to it.

The food is pretty good, but nothing special, and the beer selection is average.

The service was very good, and I am a stickler for service!  Karen was the bartender our second time there and she was great!  Very personable and makes a darn good drink!

I'm sure I will get back to OC at some point and I will most certainly return to The Green Turtle!

The original Greene Turtle. I do like this place. It's your normal bar food but the service was good and it wasn't a problem to get a drink in a timely manner from the bar, even when they were busy.

We came for dinner and to watch a soccer game.  Service was really slow and turkey burger was just okay.  However, anything we ordered with crab in it was fantastic!!!

Awful. Would never go back. Hostess and waitress were nice but those were the only strong points. On a early Sunday evening the music was fast club dance. Most of the tv's were soccer or silenced movies. The bar was full of obnoxious loud presumably drunk OLD men. But the worst part was the food. My mahi mahi caesar came with blue cheese dressing and the fish had not a speck of seasoning. My fiances spicy tuna wrap seemed as tho it was breading and hot sauce piled on top of bad veggies and rolled up. My sons kids pizza was certainly not free as one poster suggested and it was clearly microwaved. My fiances sisters soup and salad was out of a can and the salad was pathetic. Worst meal in a long time. Prices were average

This place is a sports bar with an applebee's type menu. Went here for dinner and the food was decent, quick and inexpensive. The place was full of sports fans watching the lacrosse game going on that night so it was a bit loud. I guess the place turns into a club since the waiters began to remove the seating area to open up the "dance floor." I guess it can be a bit confusing trying to figure out exactly what this place is trying to be

You know, Im on the fence about this place.  Like it but sometimes the clientel can be obnoxious. Food is ok.  I will say this though,  it is one of the few places in OC in the dead of winter that is still open.  The employees are great and a lot of fun.  I would recommend this on your OC bar crawl.

I walked into this place expecting a sports bar since that is how they promote themselves. Instead, I'm greeted with loud Rap music and a waitress that didn't introduce herself. The food was okay, but I couldn't hear my friend over the blaring Hip Hop. Some of the TVs were either blank or showed static. This is the furthest thing from a real sports bar! Hopefully, their other locations are better than this one.

We were lucky to come upon The Greene Turtle last night.  Ocean City is a ghost town in the middle of an extremely cold February.  We had a good time playing the Tuesday night trivia.  We tried our darndest to win that stuffed turtle but the last round kept thwarting us!

The food was decent and the beer was cold.  It was a good way to stay warm and have fun on a cold night.

The Original is still the best!!!!  Now, I guess if your a Ravens fan, this place could be utopia for you!  This place is awesome... it's very intimate.... and it's a great place to watch sports.  The parking lot is small, so get there early.... the food is great, the service is quick, and it's a great place to go for the game, or just for dinner.

This place always has a wait.  Why? because kids eat free.  It has good pub food like crabcakes and burgers.  The parking lot is small but convenient across from the Carousel and Fountainhead.  they also have a small takeout kitchen to the right of the main restaurant.

So, my fiancé and I went here for dinner due to it being directly across from our condo. There was a 45 minute wait for (2) on a Thursday night...
The bartender greeted us due to the sixteen year old that was attempting to wait on a 9-top. As far as service...not bad. The food...totally different story.
If you care at all what your food tastes like, go elsewhere. I got the fish taco wrap. It tasted like someone threw a few bashed up fishsticks, lettuce & tomatoes and put it in a tortilla. One word, gross. My fiancé got the mahi Caesar, which was completely overcooked and almost the consistency of sandpaper. I wasn't expecting 5 star food, but this was ridiculous. Sorry to say, I will not be visiting this chain any time soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed going here, mostly because I could quote the youtube "I like turtles" boy nonstop with minimal judgment. The food, however, left a little something to be desired.

It was a Tuesday night and there was a 20 min wait for dinner. No worries - to the bar we head. It was happy hour so domestic drafts were $2 - yes please! The middle aged bar-tendress took a fancy to the bf,calling him a "hunk", and while I agreed, it was still pretty funny. We chatted with her awhile, then took our drinks outside to the porch. By the time we had ordered drink #2, our names were called.

What followed next was really what you expect from that type of place. The food was mediocre and the waitress seemed annoyed to be spending her summer vacation working. I imagine that this place is alot more fun later into the night and if you stick strictly to the bar area. If you want a good meal, look further down the strip. I still like turtles, just maybe not the Greene Turtle.

My friends took me here for my birthday since we were camping at Assateague Island.

Had a great time there!  Came in sober and left with a grand buzz!

Waitservice was fantasic!  The pool tables and equipments were in excellent condition.

This is the typical neighborhood bar thats a dump but you end up going to out of sheer convenience.  Beer selection is good, nothing special though, same with the staff with an idiot or 2 thrown in for good measure.  Food isn't that good, just the mediocre bar food you'd expect.  There's not much nightlife this far uptown, so its still worth a shot.

This is a pretty lively, fun bar located in the North part of Ocean City. The crowd was mostly college aged folks, but some older such as me and the gf. They have really good steamed clams and 50 cent draft beer specials. What more could you want?

The bar is fun, but the carry-out food is not so hot.  Got chicken fingers and fries, wife got crab dip and spinach salad.

Salad was good, as were the fingers, but the fries were greasy to the point of getting thrown out and the crab dip smelled and tasted like carp, not crab.  We finished that meal and my wife said "I am sorry we wasted all that money."  I give it 3 stars because the bar can be fun, but avoid the carry-out for now.  I say "for now" because it is a fairly new enterprise, and it certainly has a lot of room for improvement!
