Hard Rock Live

Went to see Journey. Band was awesome. Acoustics were fine.
My complaint is about the seating arrangement. The place is a big rectangle. We were in section 203 which in baseball terms is down the left field line by the foul pole. The seats were not even slightly angled towards the stage. You have to turn to he right to see the band. annoying. What genus designed this place?

It is overall an amazing place to be! You can do anything from eating, to dancing, to comedy shows, Shopping + Casinos.

I have never been a fan of sitting during concerts. I do not like assigned seats and I also believe that the floor area should be for a general admission audience to stand and dance and mingle in the center. I would like this place a lot more if they left the center area free of chairs or assigned seating for the rock shows. For comedy shows or talks or other events they have the seats are fine, but it bothers me that people are sitting during classic rock shows or any music venue, for that matter.

Some good things are found in the location. It is in the Seminole Paradise area outside of the Hardrock Casino. In this paradise there are at least a dozen bars and about as many restaurants. It is a great place to go with friends and have a nice long night of drinking and having fun..

(Not a bad place for our next UYE pubcrawl now that I think of it.)

There are also several upscale type clubs.

On the weekends several of the bars in the paradise will have live music and/or they may have a band on the mainstage in the middle of the promenade.

As far as location goes. The Hard Rock Live arena is right next to the main casino, and even closer in proximity to the poker room. This could be either good or bad depending on whether you play and if you win or lose.

I do like the Hard Rock Paradise and even Hard Rock Live (for some stuff), but I believe they have it all wrong when it comes to musical venues there. That's it.
