Flashback Diner & Coffeehouse

My husband and I first visited this diner many years ago when it first opened an the site of the old Lums. We thought is was awful, food was not good, service was not good and prices seemed high. Decided recently to give it another try after all this time, we were pleasently surprised, food was good, portions large and staff attentive, have been back 1 more time, and was still pleased. Happy to say we now have a local diner to run to, to have a quick bite

I just had a GREAT MEAL at Flashback and I want to rave about it.

I ordered the grilled salmon and substituted sauteed spinach for the steamed broccoli. The salmon was excellent, about an 8-9oz fillet grilled to an outer crunch perfection. The spinach was sautted in olive oil with garlic and the hollandaise was great. At $15 it's amazing, I've paid $40 ordering the same thing elsewhere and was nowhere near as pleased.

The server was attentive, food came promptly. Just a real fine meal.

When moving to the area this was the first restaurant we visited, and it became a favorite.  I ALWAYS order the ribs as they are delicious.  There was one time we went and my husband ordered meatloaf and was not impressed at all, but not many places make a meatloaf that can stand up to mine IMO(and his) so this is not a surprise.  Great atmosphere.  There is indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a cool coffee mug fountain out front that sports a cool looking flame at night.  They have Karaoke on the weekends at night which is entertaining(My 3 year old loves it)
