Sam's Sushi Express

Wow come to SAMs with the expectation of yummy sushi. My family has been eating
Here for almost 3 years, at least once a week We get the tuna bowl with scallions, avocado....heaven ! spicy tuna love, yes it is spicy ! hand rolls tuna or shrimp yumyum!   these are a few of our favorites... We also have enjoyed the tuna tataki .. Very garlicky...and tasty... The tempura shrimp is ok but not my favorite...anyway yes it is a family business and I would rather spend my 30 dollars there than at publix. Any day!

My husband and I eat sushi very often and this place by far has been the worse sushi experience. We bought three rolls in which we were told were the most popular. All three were just ok. They were so small I thought maybe they made a mistake and gave us someone's appetizer rolls. they mainly contained rice and very small amounts of fish. I don't mind spending $15-$20 on rolls but when you don't get your monies worth, very disappointing!

I ordered Sam's for delivery one Saturday night around 8:15. I ordered tuna/salmon sushi and a tempura roll. It was delivered 45 minutes later...everything was really good and the sushi was fresh and cold. The prices are really reasonable too...$7.50 for 6 pieces of sushi 1/2 tuna, 1/2 salmon? That's pretty good considering most places charge $2 a piece!

My only complaint, so far, is that they don't have brown rice as an option and that will stop me from ordering their sushi 9/10 times. When you have something so healthy..fresh fish and then you pair it with white rice..I just don't get it. Brown rice should be an option, for sure.
