I love this place. Historical old SW architecture and ambiance. Have met some cool ppl here.

This place is great, mildly bourgois bar but really awesome outdoor area and nice non-standard room. I would stay here for more than a might, it sucks you in. Karaoke on sunday night was fun, a decent mix of locals and tourists. They seem to have good music coming through, like Ariel Pink so you could check in advance when people are playing. If you are under 21 don't try to stay here because they operate as a bar.

This place is really fun and is something you should experience just once. I love that walking into this hotel is almost like taking a step back in time. Be warned, if you are the type of person who likes to lock themselves away in their room and watch TV, this place isn't for you. There are no TVs in the room and there is only a radio and phone. Although, there is a TV room if you NEED to watch something. I, however, love that there is no tv in the room. It forces people to socialize together how people used to, without the distractions of technology.

The lobby and the rooms all are original style decor. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts (weird, right?!) old tile, sink, tub, etc. Truly beautiful. There are lots of bars, restaurants and venues to keep you busy. I enjoyed the cactus garden, which is really just a patio on the second floor in the middle of the building with some potted cactus, but it has a great atmosphere.

You do have to know that it is quite loud in the rooms. I had a room that was not above the club and it was still loud. We ended up falling asleep with the radio on (fun old tunes) to drown out the sounds of the streets below.

Do you like Bloody Marys? I mean, do you reeeaaallllyy like Bloody Mary's? Then the bar at Hotel Congress is your place!

My friends and I ventured out on Father's Day to celebrate in our unique fashion... Dia de los Padres Muertos! The DDD Crew started at Hotel Congress for Bloody Marys before moving on to the next stop. What's the DDD Crew you may be thinking? Dead Dads Day.  Morbid? I think not! It's just the kind of humor our dads would have enjoyed.

I've been to a couple of Bloody Mary bars in town and I think Hotel Congress' bar rates among the best. Grab an order sheet, put your name on it and pick your poison. First choose your alcohol: vodka, gin, tequila or beer (michelada)....make it a double for just $1 more. The drink already comes with celery, olives and citrus so you can then select 4 more add-ins from the long list. I went with horseradish, artichoke, dill pickle and bleu cheese. Next you select the level of heat: none, medium, hot and Tucson hot (a mixture of habanero and green salsa). Select how you want your rim: nothing, salt, pepper or S&P.

And the overall vibe in the room is fun and funky. Comfy places to sit and on this particular day there were a couple of musicians performing for those in the bar.

Stop #1 on the DDD Crew train - thumbs up!

I have not stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on the service, but the way the hotel is decorated is awesome!  The look is of the old southwest.  The hotel is 100 years old, and the lobby has several artifacts dating back to that era.  I went upstairs and peeked into some of the rooms, and they are also decorated in the old southwest style.  I would love to stay there sometime just to feel like I was back in the time of missions, native americans and gunfighters.

I had two meals here while visiting my parents in Tucson. We had a late dinner there one night and breakfast a couple of days later. For dinner I had the special, which consisted of trout with orzo and roasted vegetables. The veggies were perfectly caramelized and flavored the orzo beautifully. The trout was fresh and delicate. Being my favorite fish, it was hard to go wrong. My sister had the fisherman's stew, a generous helping of various mollusks in a great curry-style broth that really did the fresh seafood justice (yes, I was totally bogarting her clams and scallops). My dad had fish tacos. Perfectly fried fish, lovely fresh garnish of cabbage, peppers and some kind of yummy sauce. The only person not so happy with her food was my mom, who ordered the tamales. She said they were overpowered by way too much cheese. I cannot imagine an instance in which I could feel oppressed by cheese, but hey, they were her tamales. She said she'd had them many times in the past and enjoyed them, but this time they were not up to par by her standards. Overall, though, it was a great meal.

The second time we went I was slightly less impressed. It was still good but dinner is definitely where they shine. I had french toast with strawberries and blueberries.  It was good, but definitely not at the top of my list of best french toast ever. I liked it that they brought my mimosa with blueberries floating in it and a strawberry on the rim to match my french toast. One complaint I have is that they don't butter the toast and the butter comes cold and to the side. This is the second time I've made this comment on yelp, and I'm wondering when restaurants will figure out that applying cold butter to already cooled toast is the kind of task which I envision being relegated to performing ad infinitum in Hell, although even there, it will be easier, because, well, Hell is warm.

The service here is impeccable. Everyone is so nice and friendly and accommodating. It's pretty certain that I'll return on my next trip to Tucson. Oh, and the hotel is really cool and fraught with interesting history. It's hard not to get caught up in the hallway outside the bathroom reading the framed news articles detailing their storied past.

This review is not based on the hotel.  I have never stayed here, but I have had some cocktails here from time to time when I venture down to Tucson.  The lobby/bar is a total social scene.  You come here to be seen.  The bar itself is tiny.  The real plus side to it, is the outdoor patio.  It's huge!!  And they put on concerts out here, so that's money.  There's other places in Tucson, that I'd rather go to but if someone suggests coming here, I'm not completely opposed to that idea.  Oh and this place is sweet if you want to drink before going to a show at the Rialto theatre, considering it's across the street!

The food here is fine, and not way overpriced like so many other Tucson restaurants with aspirations. The ancient surroundings could use some Spic and Span.  I was very annoyed by the tip being automatically added onto the bill.  I always tip generously. And  hey waiters: You are NOT part of the dinner-table conversation.  That means, do not interrupt unless the building is on fire.  Your comments are not being solicited for anything except the food.

Music venue, lobby bar, tap room, amazing restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also the home of my favorite community activity, Meet Me at Maynard's. It's a great place for a date, meet-up with friends on the patio, try a new beer, or hear some great music! I love all the festivals and special occasions they host - May the 4th, Cinco, Agave fest, Dillinger Days, St. Patrick's, NYE, on and on and on. It's a staple of my weekends out, and I have amazing memories there.

Have you never been? GO! Wander, drink, get $5 bar eats (they are the best cheap bar eats out there), and fall in love!

Went to The Cup Cafe with friends for Saturday Brunch! Their "Baked Egg" is a must try.

The eggs were cooked to perfection and are served with creamy leek sauces in a cute mini cast iron skillet. Their potato on the side is almost as amazing as the entree it self and can't be taken lightly. I sub my toast with fruits for additional $2, but had to say, was not impressed by the choice at all.

Over all, classy, fun, historical place with decent food. Will surely return!

The hotel is cool but the cup cafe is not.  Horrible lunch experience.  Food was bad, service was so so.  They definitely do not understand guest service.
Will not go back to eat, ever!

It's hard to explain why I like this hotel.  It's 1930 retro mixed with SW funk and beatnik charm.  The biggest bed I was told they have is a full.  I can't connect my apple to their wifi.  No logon window shows ups although there is a strong signal in the room.  I've been told by other guests they have a great breakfast at their cafe (review tomorrow) and there are 2 bars on site (lobby and congress).  The staff is super friendly and charming.  The decor reminds me of childhood travels before the chains took over and I'm certain I'm going to come back here and stay again.  The rooms are super clean and I can vaguely hear the DJ as I type.  During spring break they had a room for me at a very decent price.  Lots of stuff to walk to in a downtown district location.  No TV's in the rooms.  Like I said it's hard to explain why I like this hotel, but I do.

$5 menu at the bar. BOOM. This review is for their bar eats. Each item on the menu is five bucks and a total steal. It's not your typical bar fare. You'll find items such as their Picacho Nachos, french fry plate with aioli, Meatball Grinder, Drunken Fish Taco, Mission Tacos (pork belly), tomato bruschetta, and the Brie plate called the Heart Breaker (brie, figs, artichokes, and marmalade). In my humble opinion, this menu is heard to beat. The items are super tasty and the portions are perfectly sized. Pair one of their $5 bites with a craft cocktail and you're set.

Cup Café inside of Hotel Congress always has great breakfast! It's one of our favorite spots in Tucson for Sunday brunch. I suggest ordering the "braveheart". They also have a bloody mary bar on the weekends. 4 Stars ****.

The Cup Cafe is great -- awesome food, good drinks but the service is awful!  There isn't any sugar coating it.... it's just bad.

The pluses make up for it.  Hotel Congress is one of Tucson's defining spots.  It's where I would send all out-of-towners to get a good feel for Tucson.  A little bit vintage, trendy, dirty, historical.  A mix of random humans makes for great people watching...

I've been here a few times. Its a cool place to kick it, casually meet and drink. They play some pretty good music that you can dance too. But most of the crowd is in the patio area. I believe Monday nights they play 90's which is always fun to go back in time for a bit. I'll come here if a friend makes me. If not, then Hotel Congress doesnt really cross my mind.

    UNSAFE!

This hotel, while quite proud of itself and its historicity, has little or no concern for its guests.  There is but one key for each room.  After being served several cocktails in the one of the hotel's bars, my wife took the key  into the room and locked the door behind here.  When I wasn't able to get in the room, I contacted the hotel staff,  I was told that they had no way to enter the room.  We called and called but my wife was unresponsive.  Because of a medical condition I became very alarmed and concerned for her safety. The staff was unable and unwilling to gain entry to the room.  I called 911.  a half hour passed.  Finally I had to force the door open.  My wife was unconscious but stable.  I went to the lobby where the staff had stopped the police officer!!

Long story short_ we were evicted from the hotel and charged for damage to the room.  Wow!  Not sure what there plan is for a fire that might break out or medical emergencies.  I would NOT feel safe sleeping there.

This review is strictly for the bar and outside patio. Having been to Congress a couple times it is easy to see why this place is always busy. They have semi-decent beer on draft and their food specials are pretty good. You can get appetizers for about $5 and they are very good. They usually have live music and the patio is great for large groups of people.

    Fun fun time!

If you're a history buff and love vintage hotels, Hotel Congress is THE place for you!  This place just oozes cool. They don't have to "try" to be anything other than what they are; one fantastic, vintage hotel.

We went to Tucson for a concert and decided to spend the night instead of having to trudge back to Phoenix after the show.  Such a good idea!  The hotel history, architecture and staff are simply amazing.  Things you should know:

    - Parking is limited, but the hotel will validate for the underground lot across the street.
    - There is a concert venue within the hotel, so to avoid a loud night, reserve a Cactus Garden room in advance.  They're on the opposite side of the hotel from the concert venue and nary a noise to keep you awake at night.
    - There are no TVs in the rooms. How very refreshing?!  There are however, vintage-styled radios and reading materials to keep you occupied.  Or bring your book!  Who needs TV anyway?!
    - The rooms are tiny, adorable 1930s-style throwbacks.  Actually, they're originals.  The real deal. Nearly everything is just like it was in the 30s including the miniature bathroom and diminutive showers.  Despite being a large, 300 lb man, I actually found this charming!
    - The rooms have been upgraded to include remote-controlled AC and there are ceiling fans.
    - Rooms contain oldfangled rotary telephones which actually dial down to the venerably vintage switchboard located at the front desk. Too cool for words!
    - The bar and concert venue are sublimely hip and perfectly appointed.  I enjoyed $2 Miller High Life bottles (try finding that at a chain hotel's bar) and the bartender was competent, agreeable and provided excellent service.
    - You need not stray to find excellent food & beverages offerings, as the hotel's adjacent Cup Café offers the world's most amazing breakfast (see my next review) to late night, stomach-stunning deserts ; all made on premises & offered up with a genuine smile.

Every interaction with staff was above-average, accommodating and on-point.  My distinct impression is that the folks who work at Hotel Congress do so because they love it. From front desk to bartender to restaurant staff and everyone in between; the service was top-notch, professional, independently-minded and clearly focused on what matters most in a hotel - making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Most hotels could take lessons from these folks!

How can I not give 5 stars to Hotel Congress? This place is the essence of what's good about Tucson. Quirky, hip, historical, a little rough around the ages, a totally random mix of people that somehow ends up working. When in doubt about where to go, the Hotel Congress will have something for you.

The lobby/bar area is full of visual interest, with a cozy little bar area, the staircase with its wrought-iron railings, a couple of comfortable leather sofas with a giant Ouija board table between them. The bartenders here can make you any of the classics with skill. Next door in Tap Room, you can find good conversation with locals and visitors alike, along with some really excellent bar food. The outdoor patio is pleasant, spacious, and has trees. Club Congress, the venue for concerts and events, is likewise full of charm, with a fascinating ironwork thing surrounding the stage where there's always a new or old favorite band playing.

The delicious Cup Café is subject of its own review. Next up for me is to actually stay the night in one of the HC's haunted rooms. (Seeing a ghost will not change the star rating of this review.)

This review is ONLY about the booze and noms- I can't comment on the stay (and have not heard anything about its services).

The bloody Mary bar is probably the best and classiest way to get shitfaced on a Sunday morning. Hotel Congress has a small and cool old-school atmosphere but trust me, there is nothing old-school about these cocktails. At $7 or $8, you can get a bloody Mary to resemble a freaking salad on crack, allowing you to customize and add the following ingredients: salt, vodka/gin/tequila, cucumber, jalapeños, avocado, artichoke, dices tomatoes, pickles, celery, olives, roasted garlic and my favorite: blue/feta/goat cheese. I ordered a double-vodka shot, salt-rimmed, medium hot, avocado-goat cheese-artichokes- celery-olive bloody Mary and it was the best freaking cocktail I have had in a long time. Why? well, besides having all my favorite veggies, the spicy/smokey/tomato ratio was dead-on, the vodka was plentiful and the additions give the drink an unusual yet flavorful twist to the timeless morning cocktail.

I guarantee that if you order 2 double-shot Bloody Mary's you will most definitely not be able to drive home, but you will feel greeeeeeat. If booze salads are not your thing, their mimosas (served with plentiful champagne, blueberries and a giant strawberry) are a good alternative cocktail, though no customization is allowed here. The lounge area by the bar is small but cozy, the drinks pour out pretty fast and the prices are very doable for the quality and quantity that you are getting. Its a great way to class up your Sunday until you get trashed and act like an idiot.

Warning: if you go into the cafe to eat, you cannot order a Bloody Mary from the lounge bar (they will just make you a regular one from the restaurant). You can however, go to the lobby and bring it in to the restaurant with no problems. Why get a lame cocktail when the real one is just a few steps away?

For an old hotel, it was super clean! My boyfriend and I liked how the hotel was centrally located Congress and the noise didn't bother us. If you're looking for quiet, this is not the place. Though it does die down after 3 am or so. We were out until then and by the time we returned from our night of fun, we were toasted.

Minuses: Water pressure in the shower is great, though it was "hard." Tiny bathroom.

One cool feature was leaving the key at the front desk. OLD SCHOOL!

We will return to this place as we didn't visit the watering hole. If you stay here, you will be close to Congress (where a lot of the action is) and you will be in the heart of downtown. Too bad their was so much construction. The streets being torn up threw us off a bit, but hey, it added to the adventure.

Oh, and the price was not too bad. For what you get (experience, location) it is quite good. But again, not for those looking for a quiet and/or typical hotel experience.

This is a review of the event planning services and the use of the Copper Hall for a wedding.  My friend got married there and had the best theme ever!  It was gaming themed.  There was a board game library and Rock Band for the reception and an open bar, so you know things were rockin'!

Nora was very helpful but not always there, if you know what I mean.  When you met with her to go over things she didn't take notes which resulted in having to go over everything every time you met with her or wanted to make a change.  It was rather annoying but I will say that when it came to set up she was a gem.  When the crew set up the wrong tables, she got on it right away and made it right.  When I needed something to be moved or duct tape or a vase or a 12 foot ladder, she made it happen.  We were setting up decorations from 10am got done right around the time they started setting up the tables.

At first glance the Copper Hall doesn't look very bit but it fit 50 people very cozily.  The front area was set up with several cocktail tables that seat 4 each and the back part was set up with 5, 10 seaters.

Overall the hotel staff was very accommodating and easy to work with.  If were having an event, I'd consider the Hotel Congress' Copper Hall.

This is more of a 3.5 stars, but I'm not much of one to round up.
    $3 drinks 4:30-6:30pm and $5 appetizers 4:30pm-close? Yes, please!
I recommend the pork belly mission food tacos (2 for $5), and the short rib slider was also pretty tasty (1 for $5).

Happy hour is out on the patio, in the lobby, or in the Taproom. Cup Cafe has it's own happy hour pricing/menu. The HH appetizers change from time to time, so what is posted on the website may differ from the actual menu.

The prices are right, but it was kinda strange sitting in an empty hotel lobby that is straight up from the olden times. The bartender is SUPER nice and kept our waters well-filled: A++ for service, and a C for ambiance.

Kinda cool the decor, the staff is really friendly.  The location is some what close to the downtown action.

The room noise is a bit much. Can hear the buses going by all night, their club at least closes around 2am.

The room was very historic and does have electricity and wi fi (which I couldn't get to work)

Will not be returning, but glad I spent one night.

"Well, I'll be damned!"  With those words, John Dillinger was apprehended in quiet disbelief on a downtown Tucson street after a nationwide manhunt. The whole story delights me and you can see it played out in a Keystone Kops-style reenactment on the back side of the Hotel Congress every year near the anniversary of his capture.

You see, a fire broke out in the hotel and the gang was forced to leave their luggage behind when they were rescued -- scrambling down a fire truck ladder. Charles Makley tipped a couple of firemen $12 to climb back up and retrieve the luggage (in which they'd stashed $25,000 and some automatic weapons). Big mistake. The firemen recognized the mugs of several members of the Dillinger gang from photos published in "True Detective" magazine.

I'm betting that most long-time Tucson residents have never experienced Dillinger Days (just like the many Bay Area residents who've never visited Alcatraz?!). Try it out! Dillinger Days is interesting, fun and inspires pride in those feisty early residents of the city. (And did I say it is FREE?)

In fact, Dillinger Days seems to transform this block of downtown Tucson, taking it back to the 1930s, complete with spiffed up Model A's and other period cars and gangsters' glamorous molls.

Inside the Congress, a free tour takes you to the very hotel room (little changed over the decades!) where Dillinger's gang holed up. Your guide also introduces you to a handful of resident ghosts -- other guests of the Hotel Congress who have never checked out.

Great place to hang, has the best retro feel ever!
I only gave 4 stars, because I was dying for a Harvey wallbanger but the bar in the back didn't have the ingredients for it.
I'm sure the bar up front probley could have made one, but I came with friends and they were in a rush to go.
Next time I will get my drink at the bar in the lobby, and mingle in the main room.

Dillinger Days is just another reason to love Tucson. We created what I'm sure will be some nostalgic memories today watching the reenactment of the John Dillinger Gang's escape from the burning Hotel Congress. The courtyard by the Cup Cafe's patio is turned into a stage and there are cool effects like guns, fire & smoke.

    Highlights include:
+Live music from the bootleg era (and a rendition of Beck's Devil's Haircut, too) by The Awkward Moments (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myspace.com%2Ftheawkwardmoments&s=11dd23885220f4527970571dc8ab9e17288f2a7a5a9a563c9bbbef9f89de6f2b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.myspace.com/t…</a>)
+Reenactments of famous radio shows like Abbott & Costello
+Car show and folks in costume from the Depression era.
+Fair food (corn on the cob, BBQ) in the Maynard's Market parking lot.
+Carnival Games-like a school might have at a carnival-not like the State Fair-no rides, either.

I'm sure I'm leaving things out but all-in-all it was a real hoot & the kids loved the show.  It's another incredible reason to love Tucson and get outside whie the weather here is idyllic.

Sorry, the love affair is over, and I never plan on returning to this place.  I have no idea why my experience is so different than other people's, but so be it.  Here goes:

(this is for the downstairs entertainment area, not the hotel rooms)

A year ago, I visited for the first time right after moving to Tucson.  I had great drinks, talked to great locals, and saw this awesome Johnny Cash tribute band in the indoor venue downstairs.  All in all, a magical night in a beautiful historic hotel that felt like a truly special spot in my new hometown.

Well, it's a year later, and every time I've gone back since it's been progressively crummier, with tonight's vibe finally being so bad it ruined the rest of my evening.

    Specific complaints:

    1) I constantly am made to feel I'm sitting/standing/walking/drinking in the wrong place.
      "This is an exit only."
"You can't drink in this area, we're roping it off for something else."
      "Check your backpack over there"
"This area's for people paying for the concert only"
"This area's only for restaurant people"
      "Have you been carded yet?"

    2) 80s night.  Theme nights are fine, but I swear this is always happening when I try to just go for a beer.  The ground floor is in lockdown all evening, and my simple beer won't happen unless I pay a cover charge and endure ironically dressed people.

    3) Unfriendly regulars.  Outdoor tables are scarce, and not once have I been offered an extra seat at a table.  I know it seems wrong to blame a venue for this, but it's happened so many times it seems to be some kind of collective thing the regulars perpetuate.

    4) Super-unfriendly regular.  Tonight this guy walked right up to the chair I'd just sat down in outside.  It seemed like an empty area, and no one said it was taken.   But he just stood in front of me and stared until I uncomfortably got up.  He condescendingly said "Thank you" and took the chair without another word.  Again, not the venue's fault per se, but why on earth could this not have gone down one of a dozen alternate, more congenial ways?

    5) Boorish regular.  People drink, people socialize, some people get boisterous.  Sure!  But tonight, in what was already a deteriorating experience there, some fellow went into a smug self-important rant about Celtic drums, fifes and stuff, yelling about it to some other random dude.  It was the kind of voice you couldn't not hear, and it was irritating.

    6) Margaritas are worse every time I go.  They're hand mixed, but over this last year I've seen this place lose touch with the recipe.  Tonight's was watery, bitter, and still as expensive as always.

    7) Hipsters?  I keep reading this place is a "hipster" hangout.  I really don't know what a hipster is precisely, but if they are smug, ironic, self-important, and can't tell what a decent alcoholic beverage tastes like -- then yes, maybe this is a hipster hangout after all.

That is all.  I don't like writing negative reviews, especially about local venues.  But I've had it with this place and had to air this out.  I hope you fare better if you go.

So i was in a mini downtown looking around till my friend pointed out that Hotel congress was famous because this is where the famous John Dillinger was caught back in the early 30's. The movie about John Dillinger was good and interesting, story goes that he was caught here him and his gang but then some how escape from police back in the day so i had to check it out.

Me and my friend walk in approach the ringer guy at the counter ask me if i wanted a room for the night i said no i want a tour of the place he was like ok sure go ahead ring if you get lost lol! As we were checking the hotel out it was really cool everything was all antique from the old school radio, phones, rooms from the 30's to 50's, vintage lamps and much more. The hotel even had a vintage bar downstairs sat on the stool and got me a vintage cranberry vodka it was cheap $2 lol.

This hotel is pretty historical has a lot of things to look at inside and a lot of history just got to take the time to read everything on the walls about this hotel. I hear its cheap to stay in this hotel and its in the middle of this mini down town area so your right their where all the fuss happens lol. Not bad of a hotel i actually like how its set up all vintage probably rent a night next time i come out hear with friends seems pretty cool.

If you like a good shower and some cable, I'd recommend somewhere else.

It is a historic hotel, with a storied and famous history of Rock Stars and ghosts staying here. I can sort of appreciate that they have tried to maintain that olde-timey charm by not providing the boob tube or basic plumbing, but I learned quickly these are services that I require.

It's in the heart of downtown Tucson, and is obviously meant as a spot to pre-party/crash before and after hitting the town, in which you need no stinkin' teevee. But for huge losers/old people like myself without cable at home, like to look at what crap movie is playing on TBS these days--especially when I am too pooped to make it an all-nighter and head back to the room circa midnight and have to hear EVERYTHING happening on the street and in the lobby.

I can, and have, gone on crying about the craptastic plumbing at this hotel. The shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold and back faster than a Victorian Era hooker. When I called the front desk to see what was up with that, and to see if there are any tricks to gain consistency, I was told that the plumbing had simply never been updated. I think that was code for "there was a ghost messing with you in the shower." I despise Peeping Tom ghosts, and was thankful that we only had booked a short stay.

On the plus, It is conveniently located in downtown. It is a cool old building. It has a bar with a great porch to drank al fresco, I'd go for the bartender alone--He was awesome. I'll probably end up staying here again, because I love downtown Tucson, and there is literally no where else in stumbling distance from Tuscon's nightlife.

I was told also that there was no problem with flies either & yet there were about 6 flies in our room when we stayed there.  Generalizations about "insects" in the hotel from the mgmt are just that, Generalizations.

"Our staff is very honest with guests making reservations and are very clear on what they can expect. "

Next time I hope their "honesty" tells me about the train, loud club, & bugs & how they 'contact' people here who post truthful, yet low Reviews.

I can only give it 4 stars since I didn't have the pleasure of a) staying here or b) checking out the Tap Room, but my friends took me on a tour of this place and we had a quick bite.

Hotel Congress is everything a restored Western town hotel should be -- bursting with old timey, shoot-em-up, cowboy history (Dillinger was captured here). This "Southwest Deco" monument is part history museum and part hipster hangout with a club, bar with live music, restaurant, and occasional art shows. For those traveling by rail, it's conveniently located across the street from the Amtrak Station.
