    Worst service ever

I have lost all faith in the Addison nightlife.  After a few games of bowling at 300 (with bad drink service), we were looking to continue the birthday celebration somewhere nearby.  I suggested The Hub because I had been once before, and thought it would be a step above the other options.  Boy, was I mistaken.

We walked in and were instantly blanketed in smoke and blasted with overly raunchy hip hop music.  There's no dance floor, so why does the music need to be so loud?  It's a sports bar, not a dance club.  Identity crisis, I guess. Typically, this would be my kind of place.  There's a couple of arcade games, pool tables, big screens everywhere, and I am a fan of hip hop music (and jukeboxes).

We find a table and start checking out the menu (everyone was hungry), all we need now is a waitress.  We see one nearby cleaning tables and ask her if she's our server, she says "No, I don't know where she is" in a very unfriendly tone and sends us to the bar.  We head to the bar and get in line.  Three people order and midnight strikes.. uh oh, guess what.. the kitchen is now closed.  That means only half of our table gets to eat.  Apparently the kitchen loses all functioning capabiltites at 12:01.  Ridiculous.  Funny part is, if a server had helped us from the beginning, we would have all made the deadline.  A server finally did leave her socializing (sitting at a table with friends) to come greet us, about thirty minutes late.  The person that brought the food just dropped in on the table and walked away and it was less than pleasing.  I guess if you order your sandwich just before the bar closes, they basically throw it together and serve it without the bacon, cheese and pickle that the menu mentions (and not nearly the half pound of meat that it was supposed to have).  The server never came back.

Seven locals could have been regulars had our experience gone differently last night, but I'm guessing not one of us will ever step foot in there again.

To top it off, the bathrooms were very dirty and smelled like rotten eggs.

I wish I could give them ZERO stars!!!
This place is terrible- the food, the smoke and the service (or lack thereof).

We had a group of 6 come to this bar during the Rangers game. I understand they were busy, but it took about 30 minutes to get a pitcher of beer.
We were pretty quick to put in our food/drink orders when we arrived, and then found ourselves thirsty, starving, and waiting and waiting and waiting.  Fortunately we had the game to keep us occupied; which the only positive about this place is the tremendous amount of TVs around the room- until they switched the channel to a random Matthew Mcconaughey movie... for about 15 minutes (i was be much more understanding if they had changed it back more timely).
Our server kept telling us our food was 5 minutes away.... and an hour and fifteen minutes later I finally got the darn basket of french fries that I'd ordered.  Seriously?! It doesnt take that long for french fries, and the other orders at the table were grilled cheese sandwich, and a cheeseburger. All of which sucked.

We asked to speak to a manager to voice our concerns; and (**surprise surprise**) we waited another 30 minutes before the manager decided to show face.

    I'll never venture here again!

Horrible service, horrible food, horrible time!!!!!  I have been to this place several times now due to friends insistence.  Each time it's the same sad story.  The last and final straw was last Monday.  The Cowboys were playing on Monday night and the place was packed as expected, yet only TWO servers were working, WTF!!!!  It took over 10 minutes to get a draft beer and 45 minutes to get an APPETIZER!!!!  One of the people in my party actually cancelled his order because it was taking over 30 minutes to get a Club Sandwich.  When the food actually made it to the table the plate was hotter than the actual food which means it was sitting under a hot lamp for a LONG time.  I have never gotten a decent plate of food from this place no matter how many chances I've given it.

I know how it is to be a server and I usually tip at least 15% even when the service is bad. This is the first place I've gone to in my adult life and refused to leave a tip at all.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!!!!!  You've been warned.

I came here for the Texas Tech Dallas County Alumni meet up to watch Tech vs. Texas State.  The place was packed because of it.  The staff was friendly and did their best to be attentive due to how busy they were.  The Hub in its new location is larger and has more TVs.  I liked it and will be back again.

Service here is awful. One server for the whole place. I haven't seen my waitress in 20 minutes. Learn how to staff your bar....

i think the only things that hub has going for it is the golf arcade game and the 1/2 off apps mon-fri.  the apps i really liked were the peppers, onion rings and wings.

Wow.  This place is a disaster.  Do not come here under any circumstance.  Even if this were the only place open late night it still wouldn't be worth it.  Good thing that's not the case!

Hmm..where to start.  They're always short staffed, but I don't think it would help even if they did have the right number of personnel as I doubt anyone is properly trained.  I've been to some places with bad service.  This bar makes those places seem like they have 5 star service.  Seriously, how are you just going to ignore your table(s) while you single out one group and spend all your energy serving them?  No es frio.  On our last (and final) visit it took us almost well over 30 minutes to get our food.  We're talking bar food here.  I mean you could potentially microwave bar food and it comes out halfway decent, which leads me to the food.  It is bad. No, make that the worst food I've had in recent memory.  This place just sucks.  How do you manage to overcook EVERYTHING.  The pizza is bland.  Anything chicken is dry.  The items are priced well, but who cares when you don't even want to finish the food.  Super gag.  If you're here for the drinks make sure you order things that are specially priced.  Otherwise, you'll run a crazy tab.  Good luck to anyone that is brave enough to dry this place!  Don't say I didn't warn you.

What every sports bar should be. Plenty of TV's, LOT'S of room and fantastic food. The burgers are world class and the wings are fantastic, (except the blue cheese dressing is watery). This place takes pride in their food and it's obvious from the product they churn out. Oh, skip the fries and go with the onion rings, delicious! Nice free happy hour buffet, (where did those go?), with very decent prices. I've never been at night except for sporting events so I can't speak to the whole DJ scene. But for a great weekend spot to watch sports and chow down on the best bar food, you can't do better than this place.

I've been going to The Hub when it was called the Industry Bar.  Everyone is right in regards to the location because it is in a convenient location; the appetizers and drink specials were good.  As long as the Mavericks were playing they had $1.50 Drafts and $.50 wings.  However; the Customer Service SUCKS! I had a waiter by the name of Thomas who was very arrogant and RUDE! He had  little girlfriend I assume because they were too busy fondling each other they rarely paid attention to the empty glasses.   When I asked for the Happy Hour special he told me that he couldn't give it to me until tip off --When I asked they were introducing the players of the game "AFTER" the Star Spangled Banner..... A good waiter would have a least took my order and put the happy hour special on my tab which I opened.  I ordered 8 wings with a side of cheese fries which I received my wings almost the beginning of 2nd Quarter and NEVER received my fries.  I asked about my fries about 10 times trying to take my time eating my wings since my order wasn't given to me at the time my wings were brought out.  Thomas and the little girlfriend said they have put the order in.  I was so livid I wanted to leave but I couldn't because I invited 4 friends which arrived to watch the game and enjoy the Happy Hour Special.  When I asked to close my tab they charged me for FRIES I never received.  Then argued with me stating I received them but to find out they never put the order in.... So go figure.  I spoke with Dana because she said she was the Manager and she apologized for the experience I received.  Nevertheless, I stayed for the duration of the game.  The next visit was just as horrible Dana the manager was taking shots of liquor behind the bar and then she got into it with another waitress.... Professional Establishment was not the case..... From this point on it wouldn't matter if their wings were a penny I would rather spend $10 for 5 wings and $7 for a drink at another establishment because The Hub SUCKS!

The Hub is a great non-Addison bar in Addison. (okay, it's actually in Dallas, but that's a bonus because that makes it smoke free and you don't smell like cigs after you leave).

I hit it up the first time with a buddy after work on a Tuesday.  They had a great happy hour special $2 draft beer and a free taco bar that actually had the good stuff on it.  The pool tables were $1 and the atmosphere was warm and very friendly.

A couple weeks later the same buddy and I hit it up again but on a Wednesday... same $2 drafts HH special.  We wandered over to where the taco bar had been on our last visit and Holy Sweet Jesus, they had a CHICKEN FRIED STEAK BAR.... Free!
Turns out they have free food 5 days a week during the happy hour... so you do the math... for under $10 you can get out of there with 2-3 drinks under your belt, a Chicken Fried Stead dinner (potatoes, salad, veggies, I'm Serious!)... and still leave a decent tip.  ($5 if you only get 1-2 beers and are a cheap skate with the tip).

Additionally I've since learned that during Mavs games, the draft beer goes down to $1.50 (crazy!).  Excellent Projection screens, good patios, 2 pool tables, darts, and a wall of board games in the corner like monopoly etc.  This is my new favorite hangout in this neck of the woods (Used to be Vernon's across the road, but the non-smoking side of the road has won my heart).

Considering the size and location, it was a pretty nice bar. I like that you could get blue ribbon beer for $1.50! The bartenders were attentive and I never had an empty glass/ no drink.

I got hungry so I ordered a plate of cheese fries and they were amazing for half priced bar food. Perfectly cheesy bacon chives fries.

So yea I will be back when I want a good night of karaoke and drinks with friends.

I'm pretty much an alcoholic, that said, I've hit up almost every bar in the Addison area.

Previously known as the "Industry Bar" this place was known as a hive of douche-baggery coated in a thick layer of Ed-Hardy, TapOut, and Affliction T-Shirts. The only real enjoyment coming here previously was playing pool with friends and a select few friendly bartenders.

The past couple of years this location has seen a lot of change in management, look, and business title... Like Madonna, this place has been trying to re-invent itself to keep up with the times, and up to this point I really have not been interested.

Of the few places that open at 11am and start serving alcohol, the Hub is a glimmering ray of hope on a weekday morning...this place is there for me like a best friend when I feel like drowning out the memory of my filthy ex-wife in a alcoholic rage. Every delicious shot I take, fuels my anger towards her and after an hour I am sending drunk text messages to her about how she f*cked up and how she missed out on the best thing she ever had.

When I go to throw up, I have to say the bathrooms here are exceptionally clean and neat, unlike my old home where my ex-wife never cleaned up because she was busy going out sleeping with my friends.

The staff is courteous and friendly, the don't make false promises to me, and they are faithful to me.... as long as I have a bar tab open.

The Hub serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and it's all delicious food at a great price. In my own personal experience, I didn't know a woman could serve a hot meal. The bartender here actually talks to me without "faking it".

The waitresses here never say things to me like "I wish I never met you", or "I can't stand the way you laugh", or "I'm leaving you for your boss".

They have lots of drink specials rotating weekly, and on weekdays 5-7 they have a complimentary buffet. The last time I knew about that many people being serviced in the evenings, I was married, I was overseas in the military, and it was happening in my own bed stateside.

I just threw up on my laptop and they are asking me to leave... but take my advice, this place is amazing, and it's meant to be. Where are my car keys?

We came here after stopping at The Flying Saucer. They must've changed owners a while back because I remember coming here 3 years ago and it was called Industry Bar back then.

I can't remember what it used to look like but The Hub looked like your typical neighboorhood bar. As you walk in, you see the DJ spinning music and the bar right in the middle. There are some tables to the left and a game area to the right. We went straight to the game area and played some darts then moved onto drunken Jenga.

All in all, it is a great place to just chill with your friends if you don't feel like dealing with big crowds down the street at Sherlocks, Logans, Blackfinn, etc.

The Hub was our third stop of the evening and I was honestlg not feeling another lay over. I thought if I survived a few minutes I would most likely bail out and call it a night; it was the night after Christmas and I needed a breather. To my knowledge there weren't any sporting events at midnight so I was a little leery about a sports bar.

We pulled into the parking lot and it dawned on me that it was the most normal strip mall ever made. I almost felt like I was going to the eye doctor or accountant but then I heard the DJ and remembered why we were here. We walked into a busy little bar with 6 or so tables on one side, a double sided bar, some room that was apportioned as a dance floor, a couple of pool tables, and maybe 20 TVs and screens of various sizes.

The seven of us took the last table and ended up having a pretty good time.

I enjoyed The Hub because it was laid back and everybody was pretty chill. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and did not mind at all that we took some time to order. But my two favorite things about The Hub were the smoke free atmosphere (a huge plus in my book... especially after having been to two others bars before walking in) and the DJ. I will always choose live music over a DJ but this kid was entertaining throwing in a few random things like a verse of frosty the snow man on top of a Jay-Z track... something I couldn't put up with very often but the novelty of it was classic. Apparently Big B is also a DJ on some Sirius channel that I have never listened too.

You definitely get a neighborhood bar feeling from The Hub and it is place that I wouldn't mind calling my home base.
