My wife and I love Hurricane for a Friday or Saturday night out.  We have taken the whole family and kids give it a thumbs up...particularly the fries with cheese, bacon, and ranch! The wings are relatively large and their sauce/rub choices are amazing. Beer selection is ample and includes some special brews just for hurricane. Most of all we love the bartenders and wait staff.  Shout out to Steph at the bar!

Thanks for sponsoring Burnsville Hockey Club!

I really like the wide variety of flavors to choose from and thought the "category" ratings for the  heat levels was unique (think storm ratings). Had two different batches of wings, the Thai-Ginger Garlic  stood out in terms of flavor, the Chipotle Raspberry was way too sweet for me despite being a cat 3 rating and the sauce had too much of a syrup consistency. I appreciate the creativity but it just missed the mark. The drinks and really friendly staff will definitely be a reason I come back to face category 4 wings.

Went to show my support of this fine Christian who saves us from Obama and his communist-facist Muslim-Jeremiah Wright takeover of USA!!! Found this restaurant is riddled with bed bugs. After sitting in the booth for three minutes I saw the jumping lil' critters crawling up the cheap, cracked, peeling, vinyl booth upholstery. Then the order came - maybe you have to specify "no hair". Fries so greasy. One of this sketchy places where everything is so greasy that you can see through the paper that lines the plastic basket. What is this, a McD's? How about a plate. I beat a hasty exit and praise the Lord that the bed bugs did not make the journey out. God truly does work miracles and save true believers.

Went here last night after seeing a free fried pickle appetizer coupon in the Sun Current weekly paper.  Also in november on sundays and tuesdays kids eat free.  My son ordered chicken tenders and fries and had 3 refills of rootbeer served in a 6 0z cup.  we ordered the fried pickle appetizer which was served in a cone atop shredded lettuce which seemed like a waste of food.  the dipping sauce with it was ok, would've preferrred a honey mustard, dill ranch sauce.  The entree I had to buy was the shrimp tacos which were good on top of their asian slaw which was tasty and slightly messy.  the side garlic parmasean fries were not garlicy at all, was hoping state fair quality.   the server Liz was attentative and nice.  she signed me up for the rewards program, when you accumulate 100 pts you receive a $10 gift card.  Will go back, very nice they honored a kids free entree and coupon with no restrictions.  total bill around $10.89 with tax.  Wood bench seats were uncomfortable, decor is kinda light blue/drab.

Wings are really good.....but hoping (I chose category 4 out of 5) they would be way spicier! I like this place, I have been 3 times and the very handsome bartender knows my beer choice! Nice
    little fun place!

I stopped here, because its less than a mile away from my house and I thought it would be a nice place to stop, eat lunch, have a beer and watch some football.  The decor was bright, beachside-ish and pleasant for a cold MN day.  The servers very friendly, asked me my name and addressed me as such.  The beer selection was better than average, which is great for a beer snob like myself.  I ordered the boneless wings, which was my only mistake.  They were 10 thickly breaded tiny nuggets, that were more breading than chicken and for $10!!!  I could get better ones at McDonalds for way less.  The sauce selection was fine, but you don't get extra sauce or a side, for that price.  I should have ordered something else, and I will give them another chance, but the first food impression was poor.  The menu is a little daunting, but appears to a decent selection.  I'll need to re-try some fresh in-bone wings or some of the other selections when I go back.

Okay, after reading the other reviews, I'll continue to go for lunch and not dinner.  :-/   When we arrived I told the host to just sit us down, skip the bs, and feed me.  :-)  Actually, that was the beginning of a fine relationship.  :-)  My companion's shrimp tacos were pronounced good.  Must've been because I wasn't offered a taste.  My nachos were okay -- not a lot of cheese (that's a good thing), but they use their chili con carne as the meat and I'm not interested in seeing kidney beans on my nachos.  Whatever.  The manager introduced himself and I told him what I thought of all of it, including the fact that the actual menu is damned busy!!  Kee-rist, I had a hard time staying focused on finding something to eat.  Very pleasant young man, cuter than is good for him.  I cadged a couple wings from him and based on the sample, will definitely go back for them!

I'm guessing I'll be back next week for wings.  Take THAT, BWW!

Food was great. I have had both the Mahi Tacos and Mahi sandwich.  The fried pickles and Parmesan fries are so addicting.

Went for happy hour and Apps are $4.00 each.  We had the wings, firecracker shrimp, and "Loaded" fries.  The wings here come with your choice of 30 sauces.  That's right, 30.  Which seems to really stall up the kitchen.  I had th Hurricane sauce which was your typical buffalo type sauce.  Just about average for bar food.
The , "shrimp" is really just a bunch of gross mushy breading.  Typical bagged food.  The fries, were loaded, with gross bacon bits, canned jalepenos and cold cheese.  They advertise them as, "hand cut".  I can barely believe it.

We tried to order their famous, "Fried Pickles" but they were out.  Our explaination was that they, "make them in the morning".  Pretty lame.

Service was ok, our server was nice and well informed.  It does take about five minutes to explain the menu though.  Our server also committed my wifes' ultimate pet peeve when we were paying the bill, she asked, "Do you need Change?"

A server should always say, "I'll be right back with your change."  "Do you need change puts an uncomfortable expectaion about tipping on the customer. ANd it's a little odd to assume I'm going to tip 30%.  /rant over

Ordered both boneless and "Jumbo" wings with Parmesean Garlic, Teryaki, Cajun rub and Honey Mustard.  They were all very good except the Cajun needed more flavor.  Very fresh and tasty, will be back to try other items on the menu as they have a huge menu selection.
