This has the potential to be the best bar in SE Aurora... let's see what the do this summer!
This place has an EXTREME amount of potential. They have a patio that could easily be the best patio in SE Aurora, they have a bar area that could host the best sporting events in SE Aurora. The thing is, I haven't seen or heard anyone say "Let's go to Jackson's." I don't know if they are managed by Celebrity's or if they have their own management and they are just housed inside the bowling alley. Nonetheless, this place needs to be tapped into.
My only concern is the price of the drinks, I need to go during happy hour to see if I am missing out on a deal. Other than that, the bar food is good (right along with any other bar). Jackson's, I will see you at a happy hour this summer! Please don't disappoint!
This is great place with great people working there. Â I've been here several times without a problem. Â The food is delicious and they have a great beer selection. I even suggested they open up a spot across from the Pepsi Center:-). Â The "Signature" burger is one of the best I've ever had. Â With the bar/restaurant, huge patio, and bowling, it's a great one stop place for multiple activities. Â They even host special events. Â It a great environment with TVs everywhere. Â I highly recommend this place.
Review Source:On December 7th, 2012 my pregnant wife and our children ate lunch together at Jackson's Sports Bar & Grill at Celebrity Lanes after going bowling. Â My wife and young daughter (then, just 12 months old) shared the fish and chips. Â They still had food leftover, so they had it packed up and brought it home to me. Â I ate the remainder of their leftovers when they got home.
Shortly thereafter my daughter and wife became violently ill. Â A couple of hours following the start of their illness, I also became sick. Â After a few hours of intense vomiting and diarrhea, my wife called her OBGYN. Â As she was unable to hold down any liquids at all, she was risking severe dehydration for both herself and our unborn baby. Â Her doctor advised her to go to the emergency room to receive IV fluids, and to run tests to eliminate any other possibilities besides food poisoning.
While at the Emergency Room, my wife was given multiple bags of IV fluids and the doctors ran a number of tests to rule out all other possibilities besides food poisoning. Â She was discharged a number of hours later, after all of the tests came back negative, thus leading to a diagnosis of food borne illness from the physician. Â Thankfully, my daughter and I were able to avoid trips to the ER, however, the situation was clearly much more serious for my wife due to her pregnancy. Â
The charges for my wife's visit to the ER totaled $1,643.55. Â We have requested that Jackson's Sports Bar & Grill at Celebrity Lanes pay for the expenses we incurred as a result of their food. Â They have refused to do so even after being furnished with our original receipt, and all of the medical records including lab results, and the physician's report concluding a diagnosis of food borne illness.
We've been very disappointed by Jacksons' lack of both integrity and sympathy. Â Please beware of patronizing Jackson's Sports Bar & Grill at Celebrity Lanes.
