I got free passes to the members only lounge from a coworker. I had a great time! It's very convenient if you are heading to a game, not to mention you get to watch many of the players, coaches, and media walk by as you eat.
The burgers and sandwiches were spot on. I'd def. recommend going once before a Bulls game.
Never, ever again! Â Seated on time for a 4:45 PM reservation with puck dropping at 6:00 PM. Â Server let us wait 10 minutes before even approaching the table. Â Our drinks arrived at 5:15 PM. Â Our salad arrived at 5:30 PM. Â We cancelled the entree order, even though the server assured us it would be on the table by 5:40 PM. Â We had waited far too long for far too little and told her we weren't going to try and wolf our meal down and declined. Â
Was this random and we were the unlucky recipients? Â No. Â A table of 6 to our right called for the manager. Â They too had waited a very long time and when the food came it wasn't close to being what they ordered. Â One table to our left also called for the manager. Â They were there before we sat down and they too hadn't received their entree. Â Another table to our left just paid their drink order and left.
The Ketel One Club is a nice place to go on occasion. First off the menu is quite limited has about 12 or so items to choose from so if you intend to eat here every week be prepared to eat the same things over and over again. The restaurant however has a cozy atmosphere and nice view of the hallway that the players walk down ( a view into the locker room would be much better :)). Our server was very friendly and patient and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. I ended up ordering the burger. The burger is quite large (and it should be for $15). Much to my surprise at these prices the burger isn't a wagu burger but it was still quite tasty. My only complaint with the service was they are quick to grab your plates. Don't turn your head because in a blink of an eye your food will be gone. I had pretty much a full basket of fries and they were grabbing at them. I almost had to slap a hand or two. Over all food here is good and it is fun to go on occasion. If you thinking about getting a membership here though be prepared to sell a lot of your passes because it will get old.
Review Source:This is a members only lounge- restaurant at The United Center. I got passes from a friend to use while attending a Bulls Game. Our one time passes were valued at $33- which basically got us a free coat check so I can only imagine what the club membership costs.
Its pretty nice, not cheap ($15 burgers, $36 filets) but good and better than the sports slop in the mainway. Nice wine list but United Center prices.
The food was good not great. Meh.
You can watch the players run out from the locker room because its kind of below the stadium. That's cool. Service was slow but friendly.
Patrons ranged from suburban families to jock bimbos with former sports players and newscasters. Â Meh.
And the Bulls lost.
