This is a perfectly decent little bar off the beaten path of Downtown Delray Beach. The drinks are reasonably priced, the bar is well stocked and there's a diverse group of regulars that make you feel like you're at home.
This place could be a killer music venue, though. I don't know why more bands don't play here. Do any bands play here? I think these guys need to step it up and book some talent because the Sirius Alternative station they've always got on isn't appealing. The indoor and outside areas of the bar are great and really make you feel like you're in Florida.
Anyway, this is a good bar. It's even a great bar when considering the area.
I recently stopped by during the Delray Beach Bus Loop, it was my first time. Â I'm guessing they were a little overwhelmed by the volume of people coming through the doors, there were only two guys serving, and they definitely need help in learning how to turn the bar. Â I think we waited for a good 10-15 minutes before the bartender cane to our side of the bar. Â If they were doing specialty drinks, that would be understandable, but only for beer and wine that night, not good. Â We decided on a mixed drink, could barely taste any liquor. Â The back patio was a nice space, could fit more there than inside the bar area due to the stage for performers. Â
I will give this place another chance on a slower night though, it was a cool spot and might be better next time.
This is a great place. Its funky interior excites your inner artist and makes you want to get to creating. Kevro's is a compound that has an art gallery, bar, photography video studio, and outdoor painting patio. They have a lot of activities going on here during the week from open mics to drum circles to beer pong. You are guaranteed to have a fun time here if you came to create your latest masterpiece or if you just came to drink a couple of beers and hang out with an awesome crowd.
You need to check this place out. Now.
