Had rare occasion to be in the area and visited Kincaid's with 3 family members. Â Greeting was excellent; atmosphere exceptional; and waiter (Gary I believe) was most attentive. Â The food: Â fair. Â The fish was (Walleye) not very good. Â The brie appetizer tasteless. Â I know there are other restaurants in the Kincaid chain in the Bay Area, but would be reticent to check them out. Â Based on food prices, disappointing to pay the fare for marginal food.
Review Source:Here to celebrate a birthday, the evening was as expected: perfect! I've said it before, but I love being greeted by name, having personal service and attention, and everyone knowing things from favorite servers to favorite drinks.
Because of advertising, either in an email or on Facebook, I asked Jay about the Lavender Cosmo. He knows I like my Sidecar and bottle of Mark West Pinot Noir, but told me that this Cosmo is popular, so I tried it. It is good, but too sweet for me, so I switched back over to my Sidecar.
You won't find their Land & Sea menu online, but get in to try it. I loved the Prime Rib and grilled Salmon and jumbo prawns. Need I say more? Â As usual and keeping with the Bourbon theme, I did have the bread pudding with Bourbon sauce.
A wonderful evening, and I really, really, really appreciate Sheryl coming by to chat and again as usual, Jay's 120%+ service. The restaurant was rocking due to double points week and Valentine's Day next week. The imminent threat of a wintery snow/ice/rain storm didn't stop people from coming out for dinner. That goes to show Minnesotans will brave the elements for good food and customer service!!!
I work in the same bldg as Kincaid's and love that they have a to go lunch area and tons of bar seating. Â I met a friend there and we both got the buffalo chicken salad off their lunch menu. Â It was very tasty! Â Our food came fast and we were in and out in less then an hour which is always important during the work week!! Â My only complaint is having to stare at the wine bottles and beer pulls not being able to indulge!
