Romano's Macaroni Grill

Went here for my birthday as it was spur of the moment. Super mistake. Service was slow. They made me move my and my boyfriends plates to put the food on the table. The pasta sucked. My asian boyfriend could have made better and he can barely cook rice. Ordered the pasta sampler, each of the three pasta's were dry and lacked any sort of flavor at all. Needless to say horrible birthday dinner. Will never return. Anyone that knows anything about food knows this place is lacking.

This is a mixed-bag.    I enjoy eating more in the bar area.  A little more quiet - believe it or not, and comfortable rather than the large noisy dining area.    

Pasta dishes are great.  Freshly made.   Nothing too bold here.  

I wish the parking lot was a little better arranged.. always need to walk far but then again - they are busy in this place.

The food on my most recent trip was at best OK.  I had the Veal Cutlet.  Too much breading but a handsome portion to say the least.  It was to be served with a Prosciutto, vegetable, cream sauce pasta that looked like it had been microwaved from the week before.
But the real problem with this restaurant is the service.  Our server Rob is obviously unexperienced in hospitality; reaching across diners to pour water, disappearing for long periods, Just not good.
And this was compounded by the greeter.  We had made reservations for 10 the day before.  When we arrived we were told, "oh, we'll have to get that table ready for you"
Maybe they thought we were just kidding on the reservation.
