An update to my review two weeks ago of Cowboy Jack's.
I was contacted by the general manager, Jesi, who apologized for the poor service and asked for me to return so they could make up for the bad experience. While I did not contact Cowboy Jack's about my experience, Jesi, or someone brought it to her attention, read my review.
While I appreciate the effort and it was not my intent to receive a free meal, I was more concerned that it took two weeks to contact me to apologize for poor customer service.
In today's world, if you're in business, you stay on top of social media. You, or someone on your staff, read all the big sites (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Foursquare, etc.), and you set up Google Alerts every time you're business is mentioned online. Â That way, if you receive feedback about poor service, you can immediately try to remedy the situation. Â
This is a situation where their brand image is ruined in my eyes, and with all the other places to eat in the area that provide good customer service and welcome my consumer dollars, I will gladly spend it elsewhere.
I won't go back to Cowboy Jack's.
We called Cowboy Jacks the other day to check for reservations for large parties and they were able to accommodate us with short notice. They were able to give a us a room (the Jesse James room) just for our party. None of us had ever been, but we will certainly be back. All the food was fabulous!!! From the apps to the dessert, everyone enjoyed everything we ordered. The calamari with the chipolte mayo was amazing..crispy and tasty!! The portions were large and sharable. I am pretty sure we ordered one of every dessert and they all were a hit. The turtle cake was AMAZING!! My only desire was for hot fudge on the sundae!
Getting the reservation was swift, the food was amazing, and now to our server, Casey. She was awesome!! We can be a rowdy bunch with lots of jokes and she fit in very well! She took great care of us, was extremely sociable, and had a great sense of humor!
Thank you again for everything!!
