  I've been eating here since I've been a kid. I used to work across the street and ordered the curry chicken or chicken and green beans lunch all the time! The hot and sour soup is perfectly prepared and the lunch special delivers on awesome value! I've been saying it for years... Laurel Chinese and Golden Pond are the best take out Chinese restaurants in the area... ain't nothing change!

  Good chinese take-out. A few tables, but why bother. It's nicer at home. Food is very consistent, which is really what I want in a take-out joint. Nothing is overdone or elaborate, it's exactly what I expect in a take-out Chinese place.
  
  Delivery is speedy if you are in Emerson proper, and that's a good thing because parking is limited to just a few spaces that they share with two other restaurants (Gyro spot and Sushi express.)
  
  They'd get another star from me if they took credit cards, but as of this writing they are cash-only.
