Legends Bar & Grill

I am a BBQ fanatic. I watch BBQ shows and competitions andwould love to compete. I also love good down home BBQ. Well this place is not that. Let's start by saying the very nice lady behind the counter was very courteous. Pleasantly smiling as she told me all that they DIDNT have which was more than half of the wall written menu. I order ribs and the very nice man said I was getting the best cutof the St. Louis style ribs. It was the very end of the last piece they had. It was not tender or fall off the bone at all. The beef ribs were god awful. Not tender and far from meaty. The shining star (which is why I gave them two stars) was the brisket. Besides the customer service, the brisket was the only happy point of my meal. It was tender and had the correct pull consistency. They also had no side dishes! I am totally to blame for the experience. I should have kept driving to Astoria. Oh, and BTW the kitchen closes at 8pm on Sunday, but they dont tell you that. Had the experience, cant say that I am going back. Major disappointment.

All over the map. Even though only a third full, it was hard to get the old bartender's attention for a drink, and the BBQ was okay, but they were entirely out of sides. The drunks at the bar played almost nothing but Sinatra continually on the jukebox. Not recommended.

Great bar. Nice to walk in on a scorching hot day to A/C, cold beer, and The Ramones on the jukebox. Cheap beer, friendly staff and patrons, excellent BBQ.
