Donovan's Pub

My husband wanted to try this place out so we gave it a try.  The ambience was a little too dark for me and noisy but it was my first at a pub so maybe that's how it is supposed to be.  Service is slow.... expect to wait at least fifteen minutes to have your order taken and about 30-40min for your food.  There was only one waitress taking orders and bringing out the order to about 10-15 tables.  We ordered the Donovan burger which was a hamburger with sauteed peppers and onions.  However, when the "Donovan special" came out it was well worth the wait.   I like my meat very well done and it was cooked perfectly and still juicy which surprised me. This was the first very well done juicy burger I have had!  Can't wait to go there again.

I wish the new owners would brighten up the place.  Doesn't appear the nee owners did anything. Food was just OK.

Bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries can't be beat! Glad the new owners didn't change a thing. Keep it that way!
