Ling and Louie's

From the hostess to the food I'd rate this place mediocre at best. I ordered soup, which was luke warm, but flavorful and calamari that was bland. Even the French fries were bad with an overpowering flavor of Parmesan cheese and saltless. Finally, we had the volcano cake. Unfortunately it was not good either. The cake tasted as though it was a box mix- a cheap one at that. We won't return.

I went there for the 1st time on Friday night and then had to go back on Saturday and again at lunch today (Monday). The food is good in my opinion and I LOVE the Ahi Lettuce Wraps. Unfortunately, the service is so incredibly slow that I am not sure if I will go back. The first time I went my 2 girlfriends and I sat at the bar. We sat there for around 5+ minutes before we were even greeted by one of the three bartenders on shift. The bar was not packed and the restaurant was moderate as far as business goes. We ended up asking one of them if we could get drinks and menus. We would have liked to order more drinks but it was like pulling teeth to get service and we were never asked if we wanted another round. We ordered a few apps and then had to ask if we could order entrees some 20-30 minutes later since they never came to ask us. I did notice that the bartenders also seemed to be bussers of all of their dishes and those were stacking up pretty high.

The other two times the servers were very pleasant but it's like the timing is just off as there seems to be no urgency in greeting the table in a timely manner. I went in for lunch and by the time the entrees came we had to ask for boxes because it took so long.

**Note to management: enforce some guidelines regarding greeting time, apps and entree times and hire some bussers.**

The food was tasty. I had the Wango Mango. Love how this place fuses different flavors together to make cuisine goodness. If that makes any sense. Anywho, I was one of many that took advantage of the Groupon deal currently being offered. When it came time to settle the bill, the waiter had some difficulties closing out. No worries though. I wasn't in a hurry. I just wish they had sweet tea on their beverage menu. Will definitely go back!
