Went here for lunch with a Groupon. We sat outside on the deck, so I cannot comment on the shows/music that they have going on. The service is basically what everyone else says about it, there is virtually none. Â My partner ordered the Girdwood sandwich, which is a vegetarian mix of red pepper hummus, cucumbers, and alfalfa sprouts - it actually looked delicious and she enjoyed it, especially when subbing the yam fries for the regular fries. I ordered the pulled pork carnitas tacos, which came out to be three - a generous portion. The cotija chesse and salsa verde were a nice touch - but you must like spicy hot! The pork was a little dry, but that is par for the course here in Anchorage, I am learning. I long for the juicy delicious carnitas they have at Chipotle (fast food) in the lower 48. Â Anyway, the burgers at the next table looked decent too. I think it would be an ok place for simple food and local music if that is what you are in to. But don't expect attentive service.
Review Source:Service is getting better! They have some amazing shows coming up this summer & are doing what they can to draw people in the afternoon as well- trivia, movies, etc.
Drinks are also more consistent- & more interesting than they had been.
I still wouldn't plan to eat here, unless it is the end of the night...
