When I was in high school, before I was senior and allowed to leave class, I would sneak out and come here for a half iced tea/half lemonade in one of those big styrofoam cups, chips, junk food, sammies, coffee...

everything you get from a deli.  They knew us by name, would let us loiter out front (I mean, we're in locust valley, its not like we're running a corner Boyz in Da Hood style), eat pizza there - it was a lunch and breakfast spot, a meeting place AND they had a pay phone.

Its not the millon dollar deli, thats across the street - and while they do have a giant selection of fancy stuff there - its called the million dollar deli for a reason - I shouldn't have to really break that down for you.  This joint is a regular deli, run by people from the neighborhood that remember what it was like growing up in a tiny town.

Oh yea, they're not wicked expensive, just a regular...deli.

I made the same mistake of thinking this was the expensive one too, but it's not! That's the country plaza or whatever deli. This one is more normally priced but not quite as good and doesn't have the gourmet selections. It's just fine by me.

you guys are confusing 2 delis. the million dollar deli is by the rug store and Brittons hardware. it is also on the same side of forest avenue as the boys and girls club. the LV Deli is on the opposite side of forest avenue, right next to the LV pizzeria and chocolicious and Maryanns Dance Studio. This deli has great service and pricing.

Overpriced, lousy service, lousy selection. Drive right by and do no stop. Look elsewhere for lunch

LV Deli has been nicknamed "the million dollar deli" for some time now, and with reason. Their prices are just slightly outrageous for being an ordinary deli. Although they do have an impressive looking selection of sandwiches, any deli could make them and it would taste just as good.
