We found this great casual sandwich shop while headed to Six Flags. The food was good, as was the service. It is just over 5 minutes away from the park. They serve sandwiches, salads, some fried food, and they have a kids menu. (Good selection of healthy food and food for the kids.) You order at the counter and then choose a seat, making it a quick convenient stop when you are in a hurry. Or you can take a more leisurely pace and simply enjoy sitting in one of the quiet quaint rooms of this historic-looking building.
Review Source:I have driven by this place a thousand times and finally stopped by last night with my 2 kids. We loved it. The menu had many options, too many if anything and that is better than not enough, imho.
The people were very friendly and helpful and the ambiance was great as well, just a comfortable place. We just had the basics, steak and cheese sub was tasty, my daughter had the beef stew in a bread bowl which she loved and my son had the mozzarella sticks which he enjoyed as well.
The prices were average but I really don't care as long as we are comfortable and the food is good. I look forward to coming back to try the ice cream too as the outdoor seating area looks just as nice as the inside.
Now here we have a genuine, real-deal establishment. Â Apparently the owners are trying to replicate a Cape Cod style sandwich and bakery shoppe, and with much success. Â Descriptions of their signature sandwiches attractively displayed on the wall as soon as you enter, and plenty of pasta, baked goods, etc., in the display case by the register. Â Robust portions. Â A tad expensive, but worth it. Â Full parking lot every day, all hours of the day.
