I arrived at your McDonald's at around 11:pm on January 4th 2011. Â I went to the drive up window and ordered like I do every day at your McDonald's.
The order taker said Hi how can I help you. Â I said I would like a happy meal cheeseburger w/extra pickles for a girl w/a large unsweet ice tea with that. Â I hear giggles in the back ground, The order taker said you want a hamburger,I said no cheeseburger w/extra pickles. Do you want apples or fries. Â I said fries.
The order taker said extra cheese, I said no extra pickles. Â The order taker said. What is your drink I said large unsweet ice tea. Â She said ok sweet tea with that,I said no I would like a large unsweet ice tea. Â The order taker you can't get a large tea with that. Â I said I have repeated my order 5 times are you high. Â She said step out of line we will no longer be serving you. Â I said I would like to talk to the manager and she said she is the manager and I am no longer welcome at that McDonald's and she will tell the police officer to escort me out if I don't leave. Â I said I will come around to talk to the police officer. Â So I did drive around and ask the police officer for the day time managers name. Â He came back with the name Amy Churilla and said the manager said I am no longer welcome at that McDonald's.
So why am I no longer welcome at your McDonald's? The manager (order taker)was clearly not listening to my order I had to repeat a very simple order many times. It sounded like she was high and so I made that comment. I am not defending myself because I was justified in my comment.  What I would like to know from you Bob Mazzaro, is how is your manager trained to ban customers from your McDonald's based on her bad performance and her rotten  attitude at the drive thru window.
I have been a loyal customer of yours for 30 years. Â I have seen many changes thru the years. Â I have also seen your brand new store go from great service and food quality to mediocre service performance based on how many times they have gotten our order wrong in the last year. Â My 15 year old son told me yesterday to call the 800 number to complain after they got my order wrong(again 6 times in 8 days)and charged me over $6.00 for happy meal and large drink and tried to give me an extra burger. I told them that was not my order and I needed a receipt. The asst. manager yelled back for the receipt but then never waited for it and took the burger back and gave me the large drink. Â I drove off because I figured some one was having a bad day and I needed to move on to my appointment. Â No good deed goes unpunished.
I am a business owner in Chicago, I am also a minister. I have years of experience dealing with all walks of life. Â Your manager has some serious issues that need to be addressed if she is going to continue dealing with the public. I did not even raise my voice I just pointed out the obvious in your order takers(manager) performance at the drive thru window and for that I should not be banned from your McDonald's.
