Mesob Ethiopian Restaurant

Mesob appears to be anything but impressive, but the food is very reasonably priced and absolutely devine. The service was good but a bit slow, although we were too busy enjoying our meal to notice, and this seems to be par for the course anyway. A meat combo and veggie combo were more than enough for two people. Bonus points for all of the veggie options being vegan!

Good:
- Service, we were seated immediately, attended to well
- Price isnt bad either
- Food was ok, but nothing great to get me there again.

Bad:
- Unsanitary restroom
- When we were there, had peeling wall paper etc
- Hole in the wall

Ok so here's an update.  I previously rated this place 5 stars! Unfortunately I've had to take it down to two.  I ordered the zilzil tibs again (This time I remembered the name of the dish).  I also ordered the tomato fitfit.  The service was faster this time than last time.  When I got home (about 15 mins later), my mouth was watering as I thought I was about to eat the same delicious food I had experienced before.  Nope.  Though the tomato fitfit was fantastic like last time, I was HIGHLY disappointed with the zilzil tibs.  They were tougher than shoe leather! I mean the texture was tougher than beef jerky and very, very difficult to chew. The seasoning was definitely not like the 1st time when I went there.  I probably ate about 5% of the dish before I literally had to throw the rest away :(.   I have no idea what happened this time, maybe they were having a bad day but it only takes one time for me to feel like I wasted my money.  And usually when I feel that way, I don't return to that place. Unfortunately, as much as I love Ethiopian food, I will be trying out other establishments and will not be returning to this establishment.
