Kelly and Kitty are great bartenders. The nightly regulars at this dive bar are very nice. The ambiance is great, just the way I like it, very divey. The food is good and drinks are great  they sponsor local youth sports teams and love the community. The story of the bar can be told by the pictures on the wall and everyone you ask will tell you the history of the bar.
Review Source:This is my neighborhood "dive" bar that really rises above the interpretation of "dive" with very good, moderately priced fare, a great waitstaff and decent juke box selections. The wings are some of the best in Denver and they have a nightly steak special that's a great alternative to cooking at home. As a single woman, I've never felt uncomfortable having a beer (or glass of wine) at the bar and enjoying a solo dinner. I had passed by this place for years before finally braving a visit and was pleasantly surprised to find a Johnson & Wales chef actually working the kitchen. While the food may not be quite as top-of-the-line as it was back in those days, it's still a damn better alternative to a restaurant chain.
Review Source:This is one of the great dive bars in Denver. From what I understand this place once served the Air Force's finest. The pictures on the wall show old Denver.
Unlike most Dive Bars, I love bringing my kids there for Dinner. They have a good and cheap kids menu and the Dads can have a cold beer and watch whatever game is on TV.
