I have been here a few times and never really had a bad experience. Â The staff is friendly and for the most part attentive. There is plenty of parking either on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. Â Nice dark wood throughout the entire place and not super bright like some restaurants are. From the last time I was here it appears that they maybe gotten rid of some tables or something, but it seemed more open than I remember.
Anyhoodles, I came here last night with my mom after some holiday shopping. Â They were not super busy which was nice. Â We sat down and the waitress came over in just a few minutes with menus, took our drink orders and we ordered chips and salsa. Â I forgot how much I love their chips and salsa. Â The chips are home made and came out nice and hot and were not overly greasy. Â The salsa is a little different than I remember but in a good way. Â It wasn't super chunky (which I like) relatively spicey and every once in a while I could taste a hint of fresh lime. Yummy! Â We ordered dinner after our waitress came back with drinks and the chips & salsa. Â I had the chili rellenos w/ pork green chili. Oh btw, they have a vegitarian green chili available as well if you are a vegitarian or just prefer not to have meat in your green chili. Â The rellenos were really good, not super deep fried like some other places and they used pablanos which I really liked. Â I am not sure if they used a pepper jack or if they chopped up jalapenos and mixed it with the cheese inside the peppers but what ever they did gave it a really nice kick. Â They were smothered in green chili and drizzled with sour cream. Â They came with a side of rice & black beans, which were ok, but I would have been fine w/out them. Â My mom seemed to love her enchiladas, they were also smothered in green chili and drizzled with sour cream. Â
All in all, good experience, not too expensive and well great company. :) I will come back again at some point, I can pretty much guarantee that.
