TacoMex 1

Just got off the phone and waiting for the manager to call me. I ordered the tamale plate this morning and was about to finish the remainder of the food ... when I bit on a small rock in the refried beans.  This is the third and finale time that I will eat any food from this place ... the last two times they got my order WRONG and had to toss most of the food out. I always get the same and in the past the tamales were so-so as not too much meat mostly cornmeal. This time I was asking myself "Where's the meat?" I wish I had eaten the rice and beans earlier with the tamales because I would have taken the entire meal back.
Santiago's is the way to go ... the Leetsdale store is only 3.5 / 13 minutes from this location and the place is clean and food is fresh and worth the money. They also have the price of each item on the menu.

Okay so I love Taco Mex and probably go here more than 1 person should...but it's so close to my house and $.99 tacos? Love it! However, do you like cheese, sour cream, and other fun things on your tacos? Then don't go here, b/c that's not what kind of taco place this is.  This is real tacos, there are dudes on a grill with a meat spit out in front, there's a lady with a car and CDs she selling from the truck, and this place isn't winning any awards for cleanliness anytime soon. Why go here you ask? Well that's btw you and how you like meat spit.

Maybe I was here early (11:15am) and perhaps the meat was cooked early in the morning. I ordered 5 Asada tacos that I have to say gave me mixed feelings.

The first 2 that I ate, the meat was dry and a little tough. I noticed the last 3 tasted better. Maybe it sat on the grill too long. I will try this place again since it was base on 1 item.

The nice benefit is Tacos here are only .99
