Contrary to previous reviews, we didn't find the place expensive.  Burgers, about  $10-11.  Steak Sandwiches, $15.  Fries included.  Big bargain is the strip steak 10 oz for $13 with baked potato and vegetable.

We sat outside, which, if the weather cooperates, is much nicer than inside.  Good solid place.  Will be back.

the burgers were really dry and the buns were too sweet.  salad was good but the waitress gave us the wrong dressing.  also it is quite expensive for what it is.

Solid food for years and years. I love their salads, which have MANY components.  I truly believe that their blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever had.

The atmosphere... Eh.  It's often loud, and if you come here on a weekend evening, as you're enjoying the meal, the restaurant turns into a club around you.  Which is annoying.

In the summer, you can eat outside under big umbrellas.  Lovely!  Though lots of bees...

Family loves the place.  Food is tasty. First time we were there they had an onion ring tower special that had pulled pork in it.. superb.  I have had the cheesesteak, wings, fries etc.  Its pub food, but very good pub food.  Wings are a good size and tasty. They''ll mix flavors for you if you want to make your own combination. I like hot with flavor too so i mix the beer flavor(black and tan i think) with hot an its very tasty. Kids loved the hotdogs and waffle fries.

Michael's used to be great. The prices were pretty reasonable and the food was great. It seems like they have been slowly doing some revamping of things over the last 2 years or so. They prices have gone up, the menu gets smaller and the food is getting worse.

Its standard bar food with some entrees mixed in. They have a nice selection of appetizers ranging in price from about $5.99 - $10.99. They used to have a whole section of specialty burgers but, when we went last night for the first time in a month or two, that burger menu was gone. Now its down to about 5or 6 burgers and a selection of (I think) 4 chicken and vegetarian burger selections. They reduced the number of (way overpriced) wraps, took away an excellent hibachi salmon entrée and salad and I didn't see the grilled chicken sandwiches -the Buffalo chicken sandwich was excellent and i was really disappointed to see it gone. I overheard a man at the table next to me ask the waitress about the menu changes and she said they were " trying something new" and she offered to let the chef know that he requested some old menu favorites. I did notice that they added quite a bitmore dessert selections. I haven't tried them and don't know anyone who has, so i can't say if they are good or not.

The entrée salads are very, very good. They are expensive (most @ $16.99) but large enough that I usually take home leftovers. The Cobb salad is my favorite - includes a ton of chicken and ample toppings. Very fresh tasting. I had a cheeseburger last night and a side salad - both very good. The burger was tasty and the fries and onion rings are delicious.

The service is good but could be better. They don't hover or rush you through your meal but they could be a bit more attentive. The bus boys are very nice and helpful of you can't catch your waitresses eye. There are a few waitresses that have been there for years and are friendly and remember the regular customers.

Overall, I'd give 2.5 stars for the "new" Michael's. Wish I could give it more but each time I go in these days, something is off the menu or costs more, the service gets a little slower and i leave saying "maybe we should find a new place next time."

Overpriced and parking is a pain. Service is slow and non attentive. Had bugs on my lettuce in salad and one floating in my water! Wings were completely dried out with no sauce on. Eaten here plenty of times and it's average at best but won't go back now!

Went for famous burgers and was not disappointed.  Portions so big neither my pal nor I could finish.  Good service.  Very casual.  Parking a challenge.

Michael's is exactly what it looks like -- a relaxed local pub that doubles as a sports bar later at night.

Enjoy whatever you're in the mood for (as you won't be surprised by the cuisine), but those in the know realize that the Onion Rings are better than the fries, the Cheesesteak is better than the Cheeseburger, and the salads are pretty good...for salads.

Great for families earlier in the evening, but later at night expect to see a younger and rowdier crowd.

While you're there, check out the locally brewed Captain Lawrence beer they have on tap.

Great casual spot in Pleasantville. Beer and burgers are always excellent. Wraps may be expensive,  but definitely declicious. You can get a mix of onion rings and french fries or sub in the sweet potato fries (yummy!!). Great for game nights to grab top notch bar food and beers while hanging out at the bar. Family friendly (we've been going there with our son since he was born). Good service and great food.

A cold beer and a huge juicy cheeseburger-- it doesn't take much more than that to make me happy.  Stick to this formula and Michael's NEVER disappoints.

This noisy neighborhood joint in sleepy Pleasantville is home to one of the best burgers in Westchester.  The thick burger falls into the category of "can barely fit in your mouth" and cooked medium with a smoky exterior is one of the world's most perfect foods.  They have a ton of beers on tap, served sloshing in huge glasses.  Big salads tempt, but where's the fun in that?  Wraps are pricey and will just inspire hamburger envy, and don't bother with dessert.  The waitresses systematically ignore you and let you enjoy your pub grub in peace.  Love it!

Update: I have since realized that everything other than the burgers is seriously overpriced ($15 for a wrap at a casual, no frills place like this-- no matter how big the wrap-- is ridiculous).  As such, I have downgraded Michael's to 3 stars.  Stick to the burgers.
