Milk

Goth night. DJ  Roland shows up late, throws a song on and then bee lines it to the patio to smoke. I actually enjoyed the music that the bartenders were playing while covering for him more. Also...drag queens or not, what's with letting men in the ladies room? Doug, Suze, Kat, Frank...you guys rock.

I love this place.  It has a room that plays 1980's New  Wave and another room that plays Goth/Industrial.  Come dressed to be comfortable wether it is your every day dress or your weekend fun fare.  You always feel welcome here and the bartenders are great.  As a woman I never feel unsafe going there alone.  Just a great crowd that doesn't judge and everyone is there to enjoy the music, dancing, and socializing.

And I am stealing a quote from Daron S. that yes...."Milk Does a Body Good!"

There have been some recent changes at Milk. They added a third room with synthpop/electro, which I hope they keep. The sound system has improved, and the most recent night I went they had a live EBM/industrial band. What hasn't changed is the diverse and welcoming crowd.  Milk remains my favorite escape from cookie cutter life in CO.  Go.
