You will NOT find better mexican food anywhere in Chicago. Best Mole I have ever had. Hard to find and not too fancy (just the way I like it) but well worth the drive! Bartender mixes great drinks as well

We ate here twice in December and loved it both times. Maybe at some point I'll be able to order something besides the chile relleno de pecadillos, but I love it so much I'm not sure. My husband has tried two different dishes and both were yummy, including the mole sauce for the enchiladas. There are many more options we still need to try. The flan and the salsa that comes with the chips are delicious as well. The service is perfect and the food is beautifully presented.

Been to Mom's 3 or 4 times and never disappointed with the food but the service has varied. Since they have a full bar it would be nice if they had a better selection of wines or offered a BYOB option. I have had a variety of dished there and never had a bad one. Oh, their salsa is pretty much addicting!

Yummy ! First time here and my kid loves it! Chile Rellanos are great, so are the enchiladas verdes. The guacamole was very fresh and we all enjoyed it. The only drawback was the lack of parking.

This place is great ! The steak enchiladas remind me of mom's cooking back home. Fresh guacamole and the salsa is excellent! Good service, sometimes slow, but don't let that get in the way as they are all family and they work hard to make sure every table enjoys the experience and to fulfill all of your needs. I will continue to come here often.

Been to this place twice so far. First time was perfect. Had their Sangria which was pretty good. The sampler appetizer which was great! The chicken flautas are really good! I had the Carne Asada Tampiquena (Skirt steak w/enchilada). Steak was cooked a perfect medium as requested and had really good flavor to it. Enchilada was great also. I requested the Salsa verde. Im not of fan of mole which is the sauce it comes with. The salsa that comes to the table with the chips is a mole variation with a small kick. I wish it was more chunky. I did order a side of pico de gallo which helped. The second time was the same experience with just a little bit of service problems, thats why they get the 1 star deduction. I will definitely be returning to this place again. In my opinion its one of the best Mexican places in the area.

although they didn't have any veg options on the menu, they accommodated. The veg burrito was awesome, with mixed veg/potatoes, rice, tomatoes & guac. guac was extra. for how delicious this was this place was pretty empty on a monday.

We stumbled up on Mom's Old Recipe as we were driving down Milwaukee Ave. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but from the inside, it is gorgeous, with white tablecloths and beautiful artwork. The food was incredible. It was so different than any Mexican restaurant food that I had ever had. We ordered the 3 kinds of enchiladas and each one was unique and delicious. We also had the flan for desert and it was beautifully presented with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. A delightful experience overall. We are not from Chicago, but will go out of our way to find this restaurant the next time we visit.

My husband and I were dieing to try this place and finally made it. Let me start with the grumpy waiter who would not smile and would disappear to leave our drink glasses empty. I consider myself a Mexican Foodie so I know good Mex food. This was not it! Lets start with first impressions. Chips and salsa. This was the strangest salsa I have ever had. It was somewhat like a mole sauce and creamy. The chips while hot, had many that tasted stale. I could not explain it but we guessed that they were saturated in oil and tasted stale? That or they were mixing stale chips with fresh hot ones. We asked for some salsa verde and that was neither hot or thick. It was like water and had no flavor. So now I was sceptical. Let me tell you. Pepes is a better deal and much better tasting than this place. My food finally came after a long wait. My husband ordered the steak/chicken fajitas. He received a small plate and not a sizzling one. Really? They gave him 3 small tortillas with it for $18. No guac, just some sour cream. It was awful. I ordered a combo plate with a chicken enchilada and a steak burrito. (oh yeah, grisly steak) The enchilada was covered in a ranchero sauce that would not stick to it. It was a greasy clear liquid underneith my enchilada instead. Even the plate was weird. It was a long rectangular white porcelain plate which seperated all of my food portions. How weird is that for Mexican. The Beans-ILOVE refried beans. I had never had salt beans in my life. Not only were they liquidy but they tasted like they had been cooked in sea water. Yuck and my small pile of rice was flavorless and tacky. The burrito-since they filled it with the salty beans it was almost inedible. And lettuce and tomato in a burrito?? I've only seen that on occasion. The lettuce was a gross brown mossy mess. $43 dollar bill with tip and we had no alcohol. I would have rather had taco bell, but I guess its a learning experience. You cannot always believe what you read on yelp. Unless they changed cooks the day we got there! The only good thing is that I did not take my daughter there for her last dinner before leaving home for awhile. We could not make it. I would have felt so bad to subject her to that when she loves Mexican food as much as I. There are plenty of good Mexican restaurants in the area. Do not waste your time or money on this one.

From the outside it looks like a small place, but it's actually a big place inside. Very nice & warm & cozy & comfy. We had great Mexican beer & 2 great jumbo chicken burritos. Very nice servers.

It's a bad day when I give one of my favorite cuisines a 2.

Ambiance: We walked in and it's definitely a very cute space, warm and cozy, with a bit of funk. I'm loving it.

Complimentary Starters: Pickled veggies and salsa. The salsa was for lack of better word interesting. It had more of a fishy taste or a "what's missing" element more than anything. The veggies were actually quite nice.

Starters: Shrimp Ceviche. This was indeed fresh and my favorite food of the entire evening. It had the write amount of onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime. Oh quite tasty.

Then came our entrees and the continued downward spiral.
Fish Tacos: This was two huge fried fish filets thrown on top of two small tortillas with a secret sauce. The fish tasted like the fish the frozen fish in the yellow box you may have eaten as a kid. The secret sauce was interesting as well. I guess it in short the pieces did not work together for the best.

Shrimp Ajillo: The description is: shrimp soaked in garlic and pepper, mixed with a cranberry wine sauce. This was AWFUL. The sauce went wrong and the flavor left the building. I couldn't and still can't put my finger on what happened. The sauce was thick and chunky.. possibly as if it was overcooked and then left to sit. Even the presentation did not look appealing. I guess for as long as it took to come out and as much as it was, I was expecting something very, very different.

To add insult to injury, the person asked me how it was, and I said it wasn't good at all and she could take it. She asked me did I want to take it home. *scratches head*.

What we also found interesting was that how all of the staff was sitting around the bar drinking, eating, and chatting each other up as if they were on break or off. It felt very unprofessional.

With all that said, the server was not bad and not great. She made sure that our water glasses were filled and when she brought the check she took off the shrimp ajillo although we insisted on paying for it.

Would I come back.. ehh probably only for the ceviche.

Great date night restaurant with wonderful ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food. If you were just driving by, the storefront would not make you stop (nor would the boring name), which is too bad. You are definitely missing out on one of the best sit-down restaurant experiences in the area if you don't stop in.

The Good: Excellent steak, very good shrimp quesadilla, great salsa, very good chips, good friendly service and live music on ( on certain days).

The Bad: I used to love the steak tacos but they taste completely different than when we first starting coming here. The steak tacos taste like they put the meat in a pot and stew it (yuck), they also leave too much fat on the meat .

The Ugly: No parking and no booths to sit in.

Hidden gem! The outside look of this restaurant does not do any justice to the inside or how good the food is. My picks are the chicken enchiladas with sala verde and the shrimp quesadillia.

They use to have a lady playing live music which was great touch!

I already gave Mom's rave reviews back in January of 2011 but I just can't say enough good things about this place. I went there for dinner again last night and tried this (I forget the exact name)fantastic taco entree - it consisted if steak milanese, on a handmade corn tortilla (to die for delicious) with rice and a side of potatoes. It's so unique and something that you will never have anywhere else, really this is a must try dish.

This place doesn't appear to be better than the rest but once inside it clearly is. A very friendly atmosphere, fair prices and delicious Mexican food have brought me back here time and time again. The queso chorizo appetizer is phenomenal as well as the chicken flautas. A great quaint place to go on a date, not to loud yet not uncomfortably quiet. I highly recommend this place to all

The place at first doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you're greeted by nice cozy place. First time going and loved everything I had. Would highly recommend the ceviche and Mexican hot chocolate.

Repeating some positive yelpers below, Mom's is truly a hidden gem within the Jeff Pk community. I can't count the times I've driven past this place, judging it's quality on it's exterior (rough looking). To my surprise, I was quite shocked on the atmosphere and layout once seated. Wait-staff is extremely attentive, menu is extensive and the food quality is some of the best I've come across in recent years.

Price is higher than what you're probably accustomed to at traditional mexican restaurants, probably on par with local competitor Tanzataro - however, the quality in both food quality and service is worth the extra $$.

Thanks to Groupon, the Young Lawyer and I ventured to the Unknown Territory that is known as Jefferson Park. We headed north on Milwaukee Avenue with some sense of the adventure that the pioneer's had -- with the exception that, if we missed Mom's, the GPS would chastise us severely in that nasty original Star Trek computer voice.

Mom does not have her own parking lot. Don't be fooled by a parking lot on the north side of Mom's - it belongs to some mortgage company, and they take a dim view of unauthorized vehicles. However, on this semi-decent Thursday night, we found ample street parking nearby, and it didn't cost us a thing.

It was about 7:30pm when we arrived, and only a few tables were occupied. I cannot tell you how noisy it gets. We were pretty quiet.

We were greeted by a very pleasant waitress named Glenda. She turned out to be super sweet, helpful, and efficient.

I had a standard margarita, and the Lawyer had a Modelo beer. We were given a dish of pickled vegetables, chips and salsa. The Lawyer was concerned that the vegetables might be spicy, but there weren't. The chips were light and tasted fresh. I liked the salsa, but I was saving room for the guacamole, which was also very good.

The Young Lawyer will eat pretty much anything, but I prefer vegetarian. I didn't see much selection on the menu, and I questioned Glenda. She said they could do roasted vegetables, or a mix of cheese, rice, beans, whatever I wanted. I asked for enchiladas verdes with roasted vegetables.

The Lawyer was interested in the mole', but aware that the taste and style of mole' vary widely. Glenda said, would you like me to bring you a sample? Well, actually, yeah, he would! She brought a small cup of mole', and we both sampled it with taco chips. Holy mole', it was good! He decided to try the chicken enchiladas with mole.

I don't know how long we waited, because we were conducting a conversation and not looking at a clock, but we got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The presentation was gorgeous. I kind of wished I was one of those food snobs who take pictures of their meals; it was that beautiful. And the only thing better than the presentation was the taste. It was fabulous, definitely one of the best Mexican restaurant meals I've had in a long, long time. There was real flavor, some heat, and just enough to be filling without turning me into La Gorda.

The Lawyer attacked his enchiladas with gusto. I can't tell you myself about the pollo, because I don't eat dead animals, but he couldn't say enough about how good it was. And I mean that literally. He couldn't say enough, because he kept stuffing his face.

Wow. Two really good meals. The kicker was the surprise dessert. The Lawyer and I were there to celebrate his recent birthday. Now, I did not call ahead, and I did not tell Glenda that we were celebrating, but she overheard us. She brought over a complementary flan, and the cook had written "happy birthday" on the plate in the sauce. We were totally surprised, but not so surprised that we forgot to eat. It was really good.

I thought we'd enjoy the meal, but I sure didn't expect it would be a five-star experience. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. We were totally happy that we ventured out of the near north side comfort zone to explore the northwest side.

Hello over- pretensioso (probably not a real Spanish word) Mexican restaurant. I mean, the ego from the waiters of this place is so thick I could could break a tortilla chip dipping into it. I find it ironic that a restaurant with a name like "Mom's Old Recipe" has an almost small plate mentality. Aside from that, the food is pretty good. The appetizers are the best part of the meal. Being a vegetarian, going to a Mexican restaurant is like saying.. "hmm.. how would I like my cheese? In a pepper or in a tortilla?" I opted for enchiladas, since chille relleno is disgusting to me. I've been here a couple times and would maybe go back. For Mexican food in Jeff Park I like Taquiria el Pueblito on Cicero the most.

I had the mole and chicken and it was awesome, the chicken was tender and the mole was not to sweet and not to spicy, it was perfect. I went here with my family and my kids are very critical about what they eat but they loved it as well! The service was ok. I mean I think I would give the service more thumbs up if the waiter didn't look grumpy. He barely smiled. They were attentive but gosh darn it smile and make me feel like you are happy to see me! Especially when I am spending so much money. We are a family of 6 I have 4 daughters and a husband. So overall I would of given it a full five stars if the waiter was a little more smiley. I wasn't looking for ecstatic but just a little more welcoming.

This place is ok. Salsa tastes bottled. Moles are good but need a little more heat. Tacos are mediocre. Service is friendly. The place is cute and offers plenty of street parking. However, there are so many fantastic Mexican places in the city that I am not sure I would give this place another try.

we came on a sunday night and was surprised where the restaurant was located. technically in the suburbs, but still within a quick 20 minute drive without traffice. the restaurant is nice with big paintings and empty of people. we ordered

mojitos - really good
margaritas - strong and HUGE

guacamole - really good
salsa verde - GREAT with a bite! couldn't stop eating it

enchilada with mole - good, but could be bigger

i thought the food was decent and reasonably priced for the portion size.

The food was excellent . I took a star off for the service which was a little slow and for the margarita which was a little sweet for my liking. I had the carne asada which was the most tender and tasty I have ever had! I tried my daughters enchiladas mole with ground beef and it was very good but I like Fernando's (on Lincoln) better. The huacharitos were delicious! I could eat a meal of just those. My favorite was thier salsa which was very smokey and not like the usual salsa fresca you get at most places. Everyone I was with loved their dinners. We will definitely go back soon.

Funny...was going to start my review with "meh" without remembering that a 2* Yelp review essentially says just that.

Went here based on Chicago mag recommendations and with a http://Restaurant.com certificate in hand - trying to stretch the budget for our little family of four. Arrived at 5:45 on a Sunday night, restaurant a little under half full - several families, a couple of other small groups of 4-5.

The pickled veggies (nice touch) were good, the salsa & chips ok. Ordered guac and it was just...meh. How can guacamole not taste like avocados? But strangely, it didn't.

Service was slooowwww...which is especially painful when you've got two kids under 6. The waiter seemed indifferent the entire time. (I'm sorry, you don't have to fawn over my children but at least smile at them when they say hello to you.) Finished my margarita before the entrees arrived and yet wasn't asked if I wanted another one until my meal was done. Sorry, no.

Margarita was good tho pretty sweet and not too pricey at $7, I think. Most entrees ranged from $9 for enchiladas, tacos, etc. to $18 for steaks and other specials.

I will say my carne asada was excellent. Good cut, well cooked, but wish there was a bit more of the basil sauce they mentioned that would accompany it - there were "dabs" of it on the corners of the plate. The hubby had a chile relleno that he deemed "different" (filled w/ ground beef and covered in a white sauce).

We DO like both your "typical" Mexican fare and stuff that is a little offbeat. This menu certainly looked interesting. But poor service and food that wasn't great adds up to a "meh" for us.

Great food and service. Really nice ambiance and there was even a decent singer/guitar player. Tonight we used a http://restaurant.com coupons we've had for a minute.

The complimentary chips and salsa and pickled veggies were a great start. For an app we had the shrimp ceviche which was really good and flavorful. Good quality shrimp that arrived with saltine crackers. The huarchitos are really really good and very tasty. It's a small portion but for $4 it's worth it.

The guacamole is very bland and I would not order it again. I had to add some salt and hot sauce and it didn't really help.

After the appetizers we split the enchiladas mole with chicken. This was probably the best mole sauce I've had. It definitely rivals Frontera's, which I love.

Skipped desert and left full and happy. I will definitely be back to try some other tings.

The restaurant decor was very cute. The service was impressive and the food was amazing.

We started with the appetizer sampler. Since it was our first time to the restaurant, we wanted to try everything. My favorite of the appetizers were the Huarachitos. The chips and salsa and pickled veggies were delicious, but diners are not allowed complementary refills like the majority of Mexican restaurants.

I was very happy we ordered the appetizer because the portions were tiny here. The entrees were fantastic. They were artfully displayed and tasted fresh and flavorful. They only issue was the size. I ordered the enchiladas verdes and there were only two small enchiladas and a small bowl of beans. I really enjoyed the meal but was left hungry in the end.

I ended my meal with a Mexican hot chocolate. Again it was tantalizingly good but a petite cup. The hot chocolate also came with a couple pieces of fried dough with cinnamon and sugar and honey on top.

I will be going back... but never on a day when I am really hungry!

I came here for dinner with a good friend upon her recommendation after reading about this place in the Chicago magazine. We were going to do a dinner and mani/pedi night and since both were close to one another, I felt this couldn't be any better of a situation.

We had a 5pm dinner and for most of the meal, we were the only ones in the place. We sat at a two top and had very friendly service. The menu isn't very extensive but no need when we both were so happy with our choices! I got the steak enchiladas with melted cheese on top and my friend got the shrimp special. The verde sauce had plenty of heat but it was not overbearing. The steak enchiladas were very tasty. Slices of avocado adorned the tasty bites along with lettuce, red onion and sour cream. It came with beans but I was so full from the entree that I just had a taste. Delicious! I'm not usually a fan of beans but these were mighty tasty.

We ordered dessert and shared caramel flan and fried dough with cinnamon and sugar and ice cream. The caramel tasted like liquid gold and the fried dough was light and crunchy. I didn't try the ice cream but I'm pretty sure it was butter pecan.

Everything from the beginning to the end of the meal was outstanding. The prices were reasonable and comparable to any sit down Mexican restaurant. Although this is a bit far from where I live, I won't mind making the trek to eat here again.

A disappointment from start to finish, especially after the Chicago magazine accolades.

Appetizers were passable, although the guacamole was bland and the queso fundido much greasier than any I've had before -- plus we were given only three tortillas for four people.

While we waited for our entrees, everyone who arrived after us was able to eat, pay and leave. After several assurances that our food was on its way, our meals arrived. They were not worth the wait. Tacos acorazados featured desiccated, breaded steak, and the enchiladas mole tasted solely of chocolate. The enfrijoladas jamon reminded me of discount lunch meat.

Due to the wait, we were offered another round of margaritas on the house. Our pitcher was long gone, so we accepted -- and had to send them back when pineapple margaritas arrived. And that original pitcher? Despite not requesting it, we found that we were poured Patron for $45 --not very ethical. We won't be back.

This is a really nice place with food that's decent. I just didn't find anything outstanding about it apart from the guacamole which was excellent. The chicken in my enchiladas was possibly the driest chicken I've ever eaten, and the mole sauce was so-so. Decent margarita good carne asada, but really dull beans and rice (Honestly, the rice tasted a lot like Minute Rice, but I can hardly believer that's the case.) The server was pleasant but not very good about refilling empty glasses. To be fair, the place was packed and there were only two servers so I'm cutting her slack and blaming the restaurant which should have known better.

It's a nice place. I'm sure we'll be back. I just don't think it'll be the first place we'll think of when we want Mexican food.

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten from. My family picked up dinner from there last night and the thought of it now makes me cringe.
The worst part of the meal for everyone was the awful tortillas. They were bland, horrible texture, and fell apart in shreds.
I had the Steak Enchiladas and I had to extract all the tortilla and just scooped up the tasteless steak.
My son had the Chicken Tacos and he said the chicken was gross.
My mother and sisterhad the Steak Fajitas and were not happy with the too large pieces of not so good vegetables.
This was an all around disaster of a dinner.

I agree with Linda M. from Chicago. We were there on the same night. Must have been an off night all around cause we were very dissappointed as well.

We were seated immediatly up near the front window and the waiter took our drink order right away but didnt come back for our food order for a good 20-25 minutes. He gave us some weird excuse that the food takes a long time to prepare. Huh???? What does that have to do with taking our order?

Anyhow, The food finally came and most was good but the portion sizes were a joke! My husband got the Chile Rellano entree and there was only one small-mid sized chile which he ate in 6 bites. It wasnt that great, very little cheese inside, no extras on the plate. We had to ask for rice and beans. My steak was very good but not huge. Even so I gave half to my poor husband. The prices were way too high for the amount of food we got. Did the Chicago Magazine article go to their heads?

We eat out alot and know our food. There are better places to go for Mexican. Too bad cause we live close by and were hoping for a great meal. Not bad...if you dont mind super slow service and little portions. We wont be back.

Huh? The name, Mom's Old Recipe, I think refers to the food. There's nothing confusing about this restaurant. If the place feels trendy, not sure why that should be a "miss." Couldn't their Mom be trendy? Just sayin'. Chillax.

Anyway, back to the food. Freakin' good. Steak tacos, Fish tacos, Asadas, Chips & Salsa, Pico, Mole sauces, all good. I would give it 5 stars, but the beans haven't yet blown my mind (Garcia's in Lincoln Square). The prices are fine. I was lucky enough to have caught their lower prices when they first opened. Now they will be even more popular due to the Chicago Mag kudos. Well deserved and way to go. Great for Jeff Park.

Let me be up front. This place is seriously. Seriously. Confused. But i'll forgive it for the food. A little pricey, but relative to the quality of cooking.

When I think "mom. old. recipe" . I think good home flavors. comfort food. cooked with love. soul food, if you will. I'm terribly disappointed with the irony.

I think the name of this place is all too wrong. Once you walk in, it's as though you've just stepped into a piece of the Wicker Park restaurants that got tornado'd on over to our side of Jefferson Park. Trendy interior with an area for live music. An area for a bar. Some TVS up. Little out of sorts, but I encourage more this around Jeff Park.

Oooh. But most uncomfortable seating ever. I love booths. And the only cushion u get is for ur butt. only chairs. only with metal backs. =(

That said, you've been warned.

The food is on point. The salsa does have this smoky heat, as mentioned. I'm a big fan. I couldn't stop chowin down, and the tortilla chips were far from stale. Big pluses.

I had chicken flautas (w. avocado, cuz i'm an avo junkie that way). This was perfect crisp. Flaky and crunchy without being hard an inedible. A super plus. =) maybe i'm a fan because it's the crispy texture of egg rolls. Good quality chicken (not great. but good. not mystery meat like TBK and other hole-in-the-wall spots) A little dry, but def with flavor.

The rice was sad. No interest in even eating half. The beans were eh. Also half eaten. My bf had enchiladas de mole. He was a fan. And also disliked the rice n beans.

I'd say this place does great on their sauces. No complaints on service - - other than that my bf initially had his order wrong. Waiter wrote it down correctly too. But he was served enchiladas verde. After arguing with the waiter until the mistake was realized, his order was swiftly corrected. Too bad there was no extra accommodation for it-- like dessert, or a drink, or anything. I mean cmon. We were the only two diners in the restaurant. 1 out of 2 orders right? hm.. not like it was busy.

Wanting better choices for outside dining, I'd keep this place on my list. Truthfully, I think I'd still prefer Tanzitaro any day. Better service, food, and friendly faces.

I'll jump on the bandwagon. I've only ever gotten carry-out from here; it's a little too nice to inflict my oft-cranky 2-month-old upon the staff (who are awesome), but it's delectable. Steak dishes, commonly half-gristle at yer average Mexican joint, are always tasty and tender.

Between this place, Tanzitaro and Cafe Marbella, this little strip of Milwaukee Ave offers some pretty damn good cuisine.

A delightful surprise!!! It is much more upscale than the image I conjured from the name. We stopped here for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed ourselves.

If you check out the pics, you will see that this is not a dive taco joint. They have a full bar and boy howdy, did I love my margarita. It tasted like more, but I restrained myself. I'll be back for more of those if nothing else.

We did not care much for the salsa that came with the complementary chips, but the marinated veggies made up for it. We split the special appetizer which was delightful. It was an assortment of tasty appetizers off the menu, anchored by some decent guacamole.

Chris had the carne asada. It came with some jalapeno fried potatoes. It was good and the meat was tender, but it could have been seasoned a bit more. I had the enchiladas with mole. It was very good. I really loved their mole sauce. It was rich with no bitterness to it. In my book, it was a real winner.

This will definitely become a regular haunt for us. If the salsa had been better and the steak seasoned more, we agreed this would be a 5 star stop. Good food, great drinks and easy parking. We are so there!!!!

Wow and Yum!!!

My 7 year old niece was dropped off by my place on short notice yesterday and since we were hungry I asked her pasta or Mexican. She wanted taco's so off we went. I already had the little dive place we were going to head to in mind when I passed by the bright yellow plastic sign that said Mom's Old Recipe Mexican. So why not its here and she wanted taco's.

By the look of the front of the restaurant I was expecting more of a dive type Mexican place but as soon as I looked through the window I saw white table clothes and knew that the front of the place did not give the inside justice.

Steve greeted us at the door got two menus and followed my niece to the front of the restaurant because she wanted to sit by the window. Then it started:

To start - He gave us some marinated vegetables and some chips and salsa. That's when my taste buds started to go nuts. The salsa was a thick delicious puree that had a nice smoky flavor and the vegetables were out of this world. I could have just eaten the salsa and vegetables for my meal.

The Botanas (Apps) - We ordered the Huarachitos which were these mini hand made tortilla topped with green sauce diced onion, cilantro and Mexican grated cheese. They came out 4 on a dish and were bursting with flavor (only $3.50).

For my entree - I decided to go with the fish taco's for my meal and my niece got her ground beef soft tacos which had been cooked with corn, green beans and carrots and as soon as she got past the "orange stuff in my food" she ate it up. The fish taco's had a great flavor and a chefs secret sauce on top that I was tempted to just lick off the fish.

I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was very helpful. They have a small menu with many of the common Mexican restaurant fare on it but I do hope to see them branch out. From what I could taste you can tell their is a lot of talent in the kitchen and the prices are so right.
