I didn't expect much the first time I came here.  I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the food.  I've gotten carry out several times and the food has been very good.  Their pizza was delicious. I've tried spaghetti marinara, baked ziti, and lasagna.  All were  good.  I would have liked a little more sauce on the spaghetti. The house salad and the antipasto salad were fresh and large enough to share.  My mom got the Italian sub sandwich and she liked it. Their prices are very reasonable and the servings are large. They have desserts in a refrigerated case near the register. Awhile back I got a slice of chocolate cake that was delicious.
My mom lives about ten minutes from Moncheese. Â When I get carry out, I call in my order and it's usually ready when I get there. Â They also deliver.
My friends introduced me to this place and I really like it. The pizza is good and large sizes you can order and share. Ordered this for Super Bowl party and people really liked the pizza. Never been inside, only delivery orders. Also I like to order their calzones which are good and sometimes their meatball marinara Sandwich. Delivery never really has taken that long. Â Will keep on ordering from here.
Review Source:Moncheese is OK.. not great. If you live in the Bal harbor/surfside/bay harbor area their is not much to choose from. For Pizza in south florida it's a solid 3 stars.. The pizza and the ingredients seem fresh, so not complaints there. If you're tired of the dominos/papa johns stuff give it  a shot.
Review Source:The best ever, and I grew up with high standards for pizza. Â All their toppings are fresh, not canned like most places. Â For some reason, they can deliver it 30 blocks away and still stays so crisp you can hear it when you bite the crust. Â They also have a nice order-entry system where they can see your past orders, making it quick and easy. Â Delivery is fast.
Review Source:Always ordering delivery from here. Calzone no ricotta add pepperoni! !! Always fast and on time. Love this little place. And the prices? Can not be beat anywhere! I seriously love this place. Very sad that I am on a serious diet and can not have anything that they serve.....Hopefully on a cheat day I will head straight there...Love you guys at Moncheese!!
Review Source:I can't stop ordering their carafolli pizza. I haven't tried anything else because I always crave this one. It's covered with mozzarella, artichokes, spinach, Parmesan cheese and garlic. And the crust is thin and crispy but not too much so. Try it just once and you'll be hooked. Not to be confused with "Munchies", another pizza place.
Review Source:I tried this place out of curiosity.I called and got moncheese  instead of my usual muncheez. Two totally different places. I liked the sauce and cheese on the pizza. But the crust needs work.I'm a native yorker so I know my pizza.I'll say I would eat here again.Due to the fact that theres some really bad pizza out there and this place was ok.
Review Source:This place was another complete accident on how it was discovered by a The South In Your Mouth duo. Dodging traffic from a local art festival using a GPS system on my cell phone I managed to take a small detour and land back onto the A1A. A famished body can usually spot food from a mile away but this only took half a block AND there was parking! The place itself seemed a little cheesy. It was in a beat-up and dirty shopping center. You could tell that the kitchen was crammed full of stainless steel appliances from god knows when and racks of ingredients to the ceiling. Neither of those things really bothered me. I know from experience that if the joint is advertising new york style pizza in southern Florida there is a great chance it's the real deal. Feel as if most of the southern tip of the state should be renamed Brooklyn Jr.
Empanadas were also an option which made me very excited from the beginning. The cheese and corn empanada honestly was not good. The baked bbq chicken empanada was very tasty but I really wish I would have had some Valentina to spice it up. The slices were huge and the toppings were bountiful. The cheese slice was delicious and were most of the toppings. The only item in question was the salami. I felt it could have came out of a can or maybe was even a slice of bologna covered in spray paint.
As usual it was very cheap and they even gave us a couple free drinks to go along for the ride.
