Another pretty good place to be, Luckilly there were no boorish bouncers, When I went. Yes, There may have benn some older clientele, And a few grossly overweight guys. But it really didn't bother me too much. There may be a few adult cheesecake memorobilia items from the past, But nothing too vile or beyond taste. The French Onion Soup wasn't bad, And the Mac-And-Cheese bites were surprisingly good.

I have been here once. Just meet up with some friends for a few drinks one afternoon and really didn't eat any of the food so I cant comment on that, But from what i hear the food is decent bar food. I am trying to stay away from fast food or bar food since I started to eat healthy but I do give my self one day a week to eat whatever I want for dinner so who knows I may try something here.
The place is cool Bar with 30 and 40 somethings in there at the time i was there. clean and good service. the drinks were moderately priced and you know what i had a good time so 4 stars :) maybe a 5th once I try some food here. Also lots of big screen TVs with the game on so there is a good plus, you can hang out and watch some Blackhawks or White So games and if you wanna torturer yourself catch a Cubs game lol

Club AARP

Old and poor WC people. Grandpas who are drunk and screaming for attention. Fat slobs drinking beers. Ugly, fat, and old women chugging beers.

Do not go here. The only young ones will be the waitresses.

I didnt go there for beers like most.. just for a sunday afternoon burger.
All in all, not bad food... priced alittle higher then most but you get what you pay for.

I do have to agree with most reviews; it was loud as hell in there. If you're going to meet up with someone and you plan on having a converation, you might want to look elsewhere.

as for the service... our service was polite and the manager greeted us as we walked in and thanked us when we walked out. no complaints there.

Oh boy, I almost didn't rate this place because I feel like it didn't even deserve the one star you are required to give if you want to post a review.

Morrisons is just no good. I have never been treated like crap more at a bar in my life. It's upsetting that you are a paying customer, who tips well, yet the servers treat you like you should be thanking them for the ability to give them money. I seriously think it might be a requirement to be mean to customers at this place.

The bouncers are terribly rude and may at times make it very hard for you to get in. I sat with a big group of friends near the door once and when we laughed loudly the bouncer told us to shut up. Wow. Guess we shouldn't have enjoyed ourselves too much there.

The owner can be found at times looming over paying customers, waiting to start fights with them. Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen him be nice all night, to anyone, it's very sad.

I hate this place, and do my best to avoid it, at all costs, but unfortunately have had to attend parties for unsuspecting friends at this place, who are just attracted to the 4am closing time, but usually after they come a couple times they end up just as disgusted by it and refuse to return.

I am overjoyed with the yelp rating this place has, although it is still a little generous. I am happy to see not all customers are treated like garbage at Morrisons by the look of some of the other reviews, it seems like a miracle, considering I have been nothing but nice to the people who work here, even when they are so mean to me, hoping to kill them with kindness.

My advice? Go home or go to a different bar. This place is just not worth it.

I really like the food here. I come here during lunch sometimes and their burgers are really delicious. I think they re-did their menu a year or two ago and tried to make the burgers very Kuma-esque. My favorite is the Light My Fire.

I work near here so I've come here after work a few times with some of my colleagues. It's a 3 star bar. Not terrible but not great either.

The first thing that struck us when we walked in was the lack of women... personally, I don't care, but honestly a weird thing to walk into a bar and see like 40 guys and only 3 women, other than the three female bartenders. That said, the bartenders were friendly, as were the couple of people we talked to... and we later discovered that the women were all out on the patio.

We read the reviews of this place while sitting in the bar, and honestly it worried me a little, but we didn't witness any aggressiveness by the bouncers, as a matter of fact the one working the door was really nice and pleasant. As for racist... I saw people of every race in here, and didn't witness anyone treating anyone else differently due to their race or anything else.

We didn't eat, just had a couple of beers and played a few games of pool, but we think its certainly worth a stop in again sometime.

Bear with me here:

My gf and I get there @ 7:45pm on a Saturday to have enough time to eat, then watch the UFC fight that starts @ 9pm. We order a pizza, nachos, and water totaling $20. All is well so far.

Then I'm told by our waitress that we're required to buy drinks or leave our seats.....YES you read that correctly. PAYING CUSTOMERS WHO ORDERED A FULL MEAL WERE TOLD (NOT ASKED) TO ORDER DRINKS OR LEAVE THEIR TABLE.

I was appalled, so I calmly spoke with the manager/owner thinking he thought we had not ordered yet. I explained to him that we'd ordered and eaten already. He immediately began swearing and bitching about how much the fight cost him to order! I was ready to leave, but my gf wanted to stay so she ordered a beer.

30 minutes after we order the beer, I hear the owner/manager lean toward my ear and say, 'Don't ever fucking come in here again.' Of course we ended up arguing which consisted of him using the word 'fuck' a dozen times.

I calmly explained to him that giving paying returning customers an ultimatum is a VERY poor business decision, and that he hadn't the first clue about how to run a business. (Shouldn't tables be reserved for people that are eating, not just those that are drinking?)

ZERO STARS. Go to Village Inn in Skokie, and tell this place to go to hell. I've never been more insulted in my life.

On the bright side, after we got kicked out I snatched back my $20 before heading for the door. Free meal, fuck this place.

Don't want to wait two hours to get into Kumas? Do you have someone in your group who can't handle heavy metal music? There's always parking and a seat open at Morrison and the burgers are almost as good.

The laid back atmosphere is especially good if you want to watch sports because there are ample televisions. Staff is nice and attentive. Decor is an upscale biker bar. One of my new favorite spots.

We've been here twice and the food is quite good but the atmosphere is obnoxious. As soon as the Bulls game came on, every TV in the joint was tuned in (no problem with that) and then they cranked up the volume. I literally couldn't hear people sitting two seats away from me. It's fine to have the home team on every TV but do you really need to blast the audio? The score is right there on the screen.
Sure, the food is good but I can find good food at lots of sports bars. Been here twice and I'm not a fan. Then again, I'm really not in their age demographic.

I'm updating my review for a very simple reason. I used to enjoy this place, but it seems like the quality of service has gone down substantially. During the day the service is( or was) great. I haven't been back because the last two times I went here at night I was treated poorly and cut off. The first time they said I was so drunk I spilled my drink on the bar, which I didn't. It was some drunk fool who backed into me while I was minding my own business at the bar. The second time they called me a cab and told me to simply leave. When inquired what I had done wrong the manager told me to "Get the fuck out before I call the cops." I calmly told him to give me my debit card and I would leave. Once I had my card in hand I left and I have not been back since.

I've gone to Morrison's on numerous occasions and just can't do it anymore.

The individuals who work the door have a serious god complex....I understand it is their job to maintain safety and security, however if you look a certain way you will be expected to provide multiple forms of identification. They will also mutter rude comments under their breath as they walk by your table. The servers are also somewhat inattentive and indifferent to customers.

To sum up; great food, decent drink specials, not so great staff.

They now have a crappy DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. This has increased there revenue and the douchebag quota! Unless you are amused my watching ugly people dance like they are having a fit, avoid going in there these nights!!

Well, Morrison, you sly dog, you've done it. You upgraded my one-star review to two whole stars. Keep this up and you might someday reach levels of mediocrity.

I reluctantly returned to Morrison last month to watch the main event of a UFC Pay-Per-View after successfully avoiding the bar for nearly two years. I was running on old intel that a different bar nearby was showing the fights. When my bro-in-law and I got to that other bar and saw wall-to-wall little league baseball, Morrison became our only option.

Surprisingly, the bartenders didn't act like cunts on this night. Heck, they were almost friendly. We also got our drinks in fairly quick order considering the large crowd. And hey, the door guy didn't ask me for ten different forms of ID either. What's going on here?! (Maybe they've eased up on being door Nazis. Or maybe I just keep getting older and more worn down and couldn't pass for under 21 even if I shaved my stubble, injected Botox and slept with cucumbers over my eyes.)

So is it worth going to Morrison for the UFC fights? You save yourself the $50 PPV charge and can instead allocate it toward $2.50 drafts. But just know there's more cock at Morrison on UFC nights than the most jumpin' bar in Boys Town. I think I saw a girl when I was there last month. I think. Probably just an illusion though.

I had a good time watching the fights. Just a bunch of testosterone-fueled meatheads (me included) who cheered every big blow and body slam. When the main event ended, the place cleared out faster than a high school party when your parents pull up in the driveway.

We also left, and not a moment too soon. Apparently they have a DJ now, and he started spinning his bullshit (pressing play on iTunes?) as soon as the production credits rolled on the PPV.

I can't endorse this bar for anything but UFC. Dip in, dip out. Nobody gets hurt ... except the fighters on TV.

The burgers are really good. Like...REALLY good. The tots are cooked just right. Servers are nice when youre eating, but they attempt to clear off your table long before youre done in a desperate attempt to not do any work later. Lame.

The "video mixing DJ"? Terrible. Just bad. The videos are a kick of nostalgia at times, but he doesnt really "mix" videos...he throws in a few filters and fades out one song/video to fade in another. Im pretty sure I could learn to do what he does in 5 minutes.

The bartenders are inattentive and seem rude. Luckily Id sent my bf to order all my drinks. The doorman let me in despite and expired I.D. without asking for 2nd I.D, which surprised me considering the "have two forms of I.D. ready" sign. I'd go there again maybe for an early dinner and for drinks with a large group...but its nothing amazing. I'd almost rather be stuck waiting for hours and crushed between other patrons at Kumas.

Your above the average open super late bar. Pretty good burgers and their chicken strips are spicy as hell! Really good with a huge basket of fries.
The bartenders are pretty hot but when the they are serving food to your table expect a little wait and your order to be missing one or two things. No worries because hey, they are friendly and hot right ?
Pros: have new arcade games. Pool tables. Outside smoking patio. Lots of parking. Open super late. Decent food prices
Cons: Bartenders are hot but sometimes make ya shake your head lol. Place can get pretty packed and wild on a game night or fight night

This was my bar when I lived in Chicago and will be my bar when I move back. Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders/waitresses, and delicious drunk-food all night. I usually go here with a large group of neighborhood buddies and the crowds are small enough until midnight or so. After that, the bar gets packed but still manageable. $4 Corona or Heinie bombers all night, and I'm golden.

However, some cons:
-The crowd does include the typical UFC fans and the house lays down it's screens (ALL OF THEM) for them when a fight is on. UGH
-To keep up with similar area bars, they invited a DJ to spin every Saturday. Not sure if they still do this, but I mean, come on Morrison's, a DJ? Really?

That being said, great place, fun atmosphere, cheap drinks. Come with friends and stumble home with a smile.

*Addendum*

This place does not suit anyone over the age of 25 as a place to enjoy drinks and company... Just sayin'.

Very nice and friendly neighborhood bar. Food is very very good actually and decent drink specials. The 4 am licence is a plus too. Two pool tables in the back which are clean with good cues. Wonderful outside smoking area gets extra points. Patrons always seem normal decent people and bartenders and servers are too. They tend to play the music a little too loud in the main bar area and parking is slim. This place can get real packed after 2am on weekends. Overall a good bar, gets my recommendation any day.

Dumpy roadhouse with no parking. I guess they cater to those who live nearby and from seeing all the drunks that is a good thing. Very Crowded bar even in the dead of winnter on a Sunday night, perhaps a x mas party. there seemed tobe a large foriegn mix so Anglo saxon English speakers may be a minority in this bar along with other nearby places in Niles region. This may be an Polish or Italin or greek hangout. . Not the type of place I would want to hang out as the service was lousy. Another bar I just wanted to check out after driving around.

I live within walking distance of this place and keep forgetting to stop in and check it out until a couple weeks ago prior to a night out on Halloween. Based on the previous reviews, I wasn't expecting much... but it exceeded my expectations. My two friends and I enjoyed the food and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was larger inside than I expected, as well, and full of TVs, good seating, and decor. We were also early enough in the evening that there wasn't a crowd yet, and the bartenders/bouncers were really nice! I see no reason why I shouldn't return any time soon.

Big improvement from when it went through renovation, when it was the Niles Inn. The Niles Inn was a dark, and dingy place, but was a place to hit for the late a night stop. Now as Morrison's the place is much airier, and alot cleaner. Prices were reasonable, and the food was good. They have several pool tables, which were open, and in descent shape. Crowd was light being that I arrived around 9pm, but the bartender informed me it gets way busy around 2am, when the other bars in the area close, and they have a 4am license.

Went there to meet a coworker and I wasn't too impressed. I did feel like there were a bunch of kids drinking at the bar. Which is not a problem but seemed as if they were under age.
The drinks were good and I have not tried the food yet so maybe next time it could change my mind. I do hear it's open till 4am so that could be a bonus. Also, the beer garden in the summer has spiked my interest.

Ughhhh..

I was here for a fundraiser which is the only reason I'd walk into this neighborhood bar. Words to the wise, clothing, you will be judged. They like those that wear sports wear, you can be a bit G'd out. Thug life, hey-yo! Striped shirts beware. Crowd was mostly White, except for the colors I was there with. Fundraiser was for this cool guy Mike, from Chicago that got run over by some douche-bag in a BMW with Illinois plates, the guy never stopped and left this cool guy for dead. The good people at Morrison's allowed the space to be used for (in part) a fundraiser / raffle. Alot of money was raised to help Mike to pay his bills.
Sporty with a bar that spans the length of the main room with seats, in the back are two pool tables and a few sporty arcade games. On this night were 2-3 DJs (DJ E-Dub), friends of Mike. Except for those that came for the fundraiser, I'd say most were localites, mainly mid 20's +. Younger women, older men. Morrison's has it's own lot, could probably suit 20 cars, they also have a fenced patio which smoker's use.

Forgettable place.

I am very happy that this place has only amounted to three stars. I have been to this place a total of four times and that is enough for a lifetime. Let me begin by saying, it's open until, I believe 4 a.m., possibly 5 a.m. Bad news right there...but apparently good news to me the times I went there.
First off, most, not all, of the bartenders are stupid. I mean, literally, are uneducated and rude. I have worked in the business (and when I told the bartender that, her reply was, " Oh really? Yea right, everyone says that," really? because most people HAVE been a server at one time or another.
Anyways, she was a moron. I can't say the place has good food because I have eaten just cheese sticks from this place...if you screw that up than I really don't know what to tell you.
Just don't go here. Go home, go to sleep, drink some water and thank me in the morning!

EDIT...April 19th, 2008:
THEY LOSE ONE STAR...
My oldest daughter, her best friend,and I came here after going out for a great dinner elsewhere, for "one" on the way home last night.
My second daughter met us there, it was around 9:50p.m.

She ordered a "Half & Half/Guinness &  Bass.
She wasn't there for more than ten minutes, we were cracking up about something and she accidentally knocked over her beer.
The bartender then did some "follow my finger with your eyes" stunt to her (I understand she has to make sure she is not intoxicated, but it was just really weird the way she did it) drawing lots of unwanted heads turning our way.
She then refilled her beer (she had only taken two sips) and CHARGED her again....what?!?!
Now please realize that both my oldest and myself were previously bartenders back in the day...and NEVER!

Then every time we started laughing again, we were scared we were going to get the "eye test" again.
Aren't you supposed to have a fun time when you go out?!?!
Very uncomfortable moments.

We finished our drinks and we left.
So sad, I really liked this place, being so close to home.

NOTE: Everything I just shared had nothing to do with the bartender "Jackie" that I mentioned in my first review, she was there, but she was waitressing at the tables, we were sitting at the bar...too bad, she is much more pleasant!!
Not sure I'll be going back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now understand I'm giving this bar four stars for the location and for the "neighborhood joint-ness" of it.
It's a "Sports Bar" in a neighborhood with very few options for a decent cocktail combined with plasma watching (with the exception of my home)
The hubby wanted to watch the Final Four, we didn't want to travel far and didn't want to stay in so.....off we went.
Now I could care less about a dribbling ball and men running back and forth down the court but give me a martini...I'm happy.
And they were good!
After two of them, I wanted to try this "Three Olives" vodka that was displayed, with a choice of different flavors in the middle of the bar.
"Jackie" our wonderful, attentive bartender asked what flavors do I like, sweet, hot, etc? I told her nothing toooo sweet.
She made a very yummy  "3 Olives Grape & Soda" with a splash of  Seven and lemon twist. Yummeeeee...very refreshing...hit the spot!
We ordered the combo appetizer plate to split: potato skins, quesadillas, mozzerella sticks, chicken tenders.
Decent enough for bar food.
Appetizers, booze, a good lookin' hubby getting excited about sports, on occasion inconspicuously grabbing my butt on the bar stool next to him....LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
Plus side,its close (like blocks from me) its open til 4 am every day. Down side....the lack of women. Hey I'm a single young guy always on the look out
The foods decent, good for being bar food ( oh and they have tatertots which is cool, havent had 'em since high school) for the most part the people and staff are http://friendly.it seems to be an older crowd there most of the time but picks up when local bars close.
I love this place! It's a great 4am bar.
This is the kind of place that caters to almost everyone.  Go there during the day and you will find a decent lunch crowd (I'll get to the food later) and the neighborhood day drinkers and game watchers, they have like 8 plasmas. And at night you will find almost every type of customer...the guy just getting off of work, the young adults getting drunk, the old timer trying to get away from his wife. This place sees them all.
The food here is not your normal bar food. Cuz the food is amazing! I have never had anything bad there. They have your normal bar food, burgers, wraps, nachos, but it's done with the quality of a professional chef. One of my biggest pet-peeves when it comes to restaurants is old and dirty deep fry oil. I can't stand it. All the times I have eaten there I have never gotten anything cooked in old grease. And that's saying a lot.
The building itself was completely rebuilt a few years back and it still has that newly remodeled feel. It's always clean and never gets really packed except late night Fridays and Saturdays. They have two decent pool tables, lucky strike, and those great touch screen games. The employees are great...there is always a beautiful girl behind the bar, and a few tough guys at the door, and a manager walking around talking to regulars. I have heard roomers that they can be unfriendly at times but I have gotten to know most of them and they are really nice to me.
There is just one draw back to this place. Its location...it's not hard to find, it's down the street from the Niles police station.  It's not uncommon to see a cop in a parking lot down the street. So don't go there to get blasted and drive home.
