When I was in high school I could eat chinese food atleast once a week and not worry about gaining weight. It's a little bit different now. I don't really crave chinese food, but if I do I order take out from here.

My favorite is the sesame chicken with beef fried rice. The chicken is not like most chinese places. It's all white meat chicken with a little bit of breading. I've also tried the singapore chow mei.

The lunch portions are huge and include a drink. They accept Visa/MC, but the min. is $10.

Best Chinese around my area,  It use to be gross but They changed it up. The rice is delicious, orange chicken/mongolian beef/pot stickers/ crab ragoons/ egg rolls, are all tasty. They deliver fast, but they still use the carbon paper thing when you pay with a debit card (only when they deliver, inside they use the little machine), but the food is good, so you should try it.

Always used to order from here before I discovered a better option, Jess Cafe, just down Central..This place is not as fresh. They give you a pretty standard meal. It's not outstanding, but it's not terrible, either. They give you big portions for your buck, though. I like Jess Cafe better 'cause their food tastes a whole lot fresher, and they have bubble tea as well. Not a bad place, though. But not worth more than 3 stars.

I had high expectations for this little restaurant based on the sign in the window claiming to have the best Chinese food in Chicago.  Yeah, I know it's normal for businesses to really talk up their product higher than what others might, but trust me the sign in the window was totally wrong.

The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star rating is the serving size was large on their lunch menu.  However, some of the sweet and sour pork was burnt, the rest of it had a mushy tasteless coating on it, the fried rice was not just fried but fried just barely short of burnt, the egg roll was also just barely not burnt and was very over cooked.  The one positive taste in the meal was the canned Coke which was cold and good tasting.

I really hate giving a low rating to a small restaurant since I'm very much in favor of supporting small businesses whenever possible.  However, in this case I feel I am being pretty generous to even give this restaurant 2 stars.  The service was friendly and the dining area clean so at least they have that going for them.

Next time I'm in the area I will just eat next door at the Subway sandwich shop where I know I will get served good tasting food.  Sorry Mr. Ging's I just really can't give you any higher rating without feeling I'd be doing other Yelpers a disservice.         :-(

Great food and even better customer service!  The fried rice is great and even better when you pour on the soy sauce from the little packets.  Food normally doesn't take too long to get after placing an order either.

I love this place! It is made fresh to order which you can taste. None of the food is greasy which is a plus. I love the shrimp fried rice and highly recommend the egg foo young I have only ordered for delivery so I can't tell you what the place looks like ;)

Your typical Chinese menu, here. Chicago has a plethora of Chinese places to choose from, and this place seems to be one we keep returning to. Food tastes fresh, and the portions are huge! My husband and I usually order the Dinner for 2 for $16.95 (egg rolls, chicken/wonton fried appetizer, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, sweet & sour pork, and beef & broccoli!). I also really like their Chicken Cashew. The egg rolls are good, but I'm not a fan of their Crab Ragoon filling. Delivery time is lightning fast!! They are closed Tuesdays. We have never dined in here, always delivery or take out.

Not a fan of this place. The wings were nasty, orange chicken wasn't all that and the crab rangoon sucked as well, the sweet n sour sauce had more going on for it then the food itself. I think it's the oil they use for the food that makes it taste so bad. I'll never go back to this place. Leung's chop suey is way better and not too far from this place.

Good Chinese food on the NW Side, lightning fast delivery,in the Crab Rangoon you'll actually find some crab and not the overwhelming taste of cream cheese, good egg rolls, not great though, very good mongolian chicken and fried rice, good meat and no fishy taste to the shrimp. Solid local option.

This was the first restaurant that I ordered from since I moved to Chicago from the suburbs. The food was hot and delivered before the confirmed delivery time, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I ordered Sesame Chicken, Pot Stickers, Egg Drop Soup, and Teriyaki Beef.

I like that you can see where the food is being prepared.  The restaurant is clean.  Service is OK and their food is fresh.

I'm glad they are so close to me and that I don't have to go far to get good food.

    LOVE their Crab Rangoon!

Pretty standard Chinese fare here.  I ordered some egg rolls, crab rangoon and shrimp chow fun.  I never tried chow fun, so I googled up pictures and it sounded good to me.  The crab rangoon came in a set of 8 for $5.25, so there was certainly value there, as the carton for food did not close.  The egg roll was standard as well, probably should have gotten a shrimp roll.

Shrimp Chow Fun?  I am down with this dish since the shrimp is big and plentiful and as I dug around my food, there was always more shrimp to be found.  Delivery time beat the Grubhub estimate, but I must say they did not include napkins, utensils or free pop with my order.  Also they put a small carton filled with sweet and sout sauce that didn't make sense to me.  Decent value and I will have food for the next few days at least!!!

I ordered from this place and the driver was late and rude and expected a tip.  Having worked for tips, I didn't appreciate it so I told him his tip was to be on time and lose the attitude.

I ordered Egg Foo Young and it was cold.  My chicken fried rice was overcooked and flavorless.  I mean how do you screw up Chinese food?

I sometimes think I'm the kiss of death to my favorite Chinese restaurants.  Both Wok Inn and Little Hunan are now closed, leaving me to scramble to find a local restaurant which pleases me as much as they did.  Mr. Ging's is not that restaurant, however it does offer good food and a lot of bang for the buck, which I appreciate.

Right  from the start I was impressed with the speed of the delivery and the sheer amount of food that was sent.  It all arrived hot, a state that is all-too-rare these days it seems.  The crab rangoon was not only a big order, but the pieces were huge.  Unfortunately they did not include any hot mustard, an odd omission.  The pot stickers were good, but the sauce, though good, was not the kind I like with my pot stickers.  It was slightly sweet and gingery, like the grown-up sister of the sweet-sour sauce sent with the crab rangoon.  Nice, but not what I wanted.  The hot and sour soup was good, but more peppery and less vinegary than I like it.  Still, it had a good flavor and was a good deal.

I ordered the twice-cooked pork since that's difficult to impossible to find at most places I've been.  Again, it was good, but not great.  The pork was lean, but not as tender as I like, and the sauce was spicy, but not the almost barbeque-y type sauce I'm used to.   My dinner companion had another house special, which name I forget right now.  Shanghai something, and it was very good.

I've awarded four stars here because most of my objections are that the dishes were not entirely what I expected.  It'd hardly be fair to take away points because of that.  For what we got, I'd say we did well, and I'll be ordering from there again in the future.  But I'm also going to keep looking for a local Chinese restaurant which more suits my needs.

I'm picky when it comes to Chinese Take out.  Unfortunately no one place can fulfill my needs.  Some serve excellent food, but crappy egg rolls, others miss it when it comes to good hot and sour soup.
Mr.Ging is my place to go to when I have very specific Chinese cravings.
Their Lobster Egg Foo Young has huge chunks of lobster, not flecks, and I love love their Beef Mai Fun!  I haven't tried the hot and sour soup here, but their egg rolls are pretty good.
