Calma Optimal Deli

I really like this shop a lot. I even take a train and a bus to get here (everywhere else I go for groceries I can walk to).The perogies are great, and reasonable priced, as are the soups. I've also bought smetana (sour cream) here, which I hadn't had since my time in Ukraine! There are Amish products, but it seems more Polish than Amish. I have asked how to properly heat some of the frozen items (perogies, blintzes, and they've been helpful and patient with my questions. I haven't had the produce here.

The Addison bus (the 152) stops right outside, if you're coming on public transport.

I only go there regularly because it's close to my house. Ever since they changed to 'organic and Amish'  the quality has not changed, the prices just went up. The produce is pretty nasty, I only buy it as a last resort. The soups and sausages are pretty good. I would not go out of my way to go there. Also, I've been a customer for over 5 years and still get a very cold service from them.
