I really like this pizza! Â I am a fan of thin crust pizza, preferring it over deep dish most of the time. Â I had stopped in to grab a slice while running errands and a really big slice with a can of soda was less than $3.00. Â
D'Gigio's has a special offer of any one topping 14" pizza for $5.00 which is ridiculous. Â I called to for delivery and understandably when ordering the $5.00 special there is a two pie minimum. Â Works for me. Â I ordered both pizzas with mushrooms, one only half baked so that I could freeze it and finish baking it another time. Â My request was honored and it was perfect. Â
The crust is hand made, fresh daily, which is unusual these days as many pizzerias buy their dough already shaped and par baked. Â Not D'Gigio's! Â Really hand made, hand tossed. Â Good pizza sauce, real cheese and FRESH mushrooms. Â All for $5.00. Â
Not really a place to dine in. Â Maybe two tables and some counter seats, but not room for more than 10 to 12 people. Â Lots of great lunch specials, quick delivery. Â
Nice people to do business with, good product, great value. Â I have no complaints. Â Thank you so much, I am happy to be in the neighborhood.
Sadly this place has gone downhill. The crust used to be greasy and soft but the last 3 times we have tried it, it was overdone and not a lot of flavor. We will give it one more shot but it would be sad to lose D'Gigio's as a favorite. The girls that answer the phone are still so nice though!
