North Coast Casino

We stopped in Eureka for the night.  The city kind of shuts down in the late afternoon of a Sunday. While looking for an open establishment we found this poker casino. Very friendly staff, nice patrons, and a good selection of beer. The furnishings were very comfortable as we relaxed and enjoyed our beverages. The bartender Rachel informed us of upcoming events at the casino as well as answered our general questions.

i stopped in here randomly looking for a drink at 9pm in Eureka -- there aren't a lot of choices and this place was open, so we wandered in to see what was going on.

it turned out this was a card place with a few tables for people to play poker at varying buy-in levels.  there was also a good selection of tasty micro brews from Eureka (super cheap, too!) which is what my friend and i enjoyed for an hour or two.  service was really friendly, especially the bartender Rachel, and while i don't need a place to gamble, it was comfortable to hang out here while spending time in Eureka while road tripping.
