The Red Fox Tavern

The place has repeatedly hosted musicians who call for the murder of gay people.  If that's your thing, you've found your home.

For Eureka this is as good as it gets for performances. Kixin it with BLH and the owner for his birthday was nice. I think they have a great sound system and nice location for this venue. Good amount of bathrooms which is a plus. A little small but you are in Eureka! Looking like a great up and coming bar/concert hall. A must visit

I don't make it to Eureka more than once a year so it is always interesting to see what has changed over the years and where you can go to hang out. This particular spot has lasted over a few years which gives it some natural credibility as a place to try out. That and you hardly have any other options in town accept for dive bars!

It was a decent little spot with an okay bar, nice enough people, and a so-so crowd. Obviously it doesn't compare to big city clubs and such but for a sleepy town of 25,000 it was good enough for one night's entertainment! They carried some nice local beers that I hadn't had before and was happy with.
