A staple for anyone on Northwestern's Chicago campus. How can you beat pasta (enough for two meals), a roll, and a can of soda for only $4.50. I went with the top seller of chicken pasta and was not disappointed. Good flavor, a decent a mount of meet, and delicious sun dried tomatoes. If you are ever in a rush or don't have time to make lunch, this is an easy and cheap option available on weekdays.
Review Source:I don't understand how there could be complaints about this...it is SUCH a good deal for what you get. Definitely not gourmet, but it's $4.50 for some delicious pasta or salad plus a drink (plus some bread, which isn't that great, but hey, that's alright). It's my favorite food truck in the Streeterville area.
PS--If you want pesto tortellini (and you do), you need to get there by 11:00.
Love the Pasta Bowl truck! Â They're parked right by my work from 11:30-1pm and I'm usually the first in line because at noon, good luck getting something! Â Most of the time, I get the Chicken Ceasar salad and for a salad it's as good as it gets! Â Very filling. Â Along with your order, you get bread and a choice of bottled water or pop for $4.50. Â Great deal if you ask me.
